I simply love this video. I've literally lost count of how many times that I play it. I'm always ministered to when I listen to it. Especially, on the nights that I can't sleep. God Bless you for posting this! Smiles
This man is one singing fool who can sing you into a frenzy!!!!! And preach you something crazy.....I'm telling you this just half of what he is about
@bklyngurlwurl and jrichard40735 no he isnt flaming and most importantly he is a mighty man of god I'd advice you to keep your mouth off the men and women of god. and its sad how you'd use the video of a homegoing to discuss such mess from the devil. And any negative comments you have to say back...bless you anyways in the name of jesus. 100% LFT member muahhhhhh!
FOUR YEARS LATER AND THIS STILL FEELS LIKE THE SATURDAY MORNING...KIRBY THANKS FOR ENCOURAGING US WITH THIS SONG...R.I.P PASTOR WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH...
i saw him once singing with heze in nj and i always wondered what happened to him. he tore newark up that nght into a million little pieces. i just happened to be messing around on yt and i was like, wait a minute, that could not be, is it.....so i clicked the video and sure enuff it was him. i am quite happy to have found him. i do enjoy his ministry. but a quick question......is he flaming?
Perhaps one of the most tragic ironies of history - the African American embrace of Christianity, a type of mass Stockholm Syndrome:
"You may purchase slaves from the foreigners among you. You may purchase their children treating them as property, passing them on to your children as inheritance. " Leviticus 25:44-46
No, I was not speaking of your comment on this great song. Sorry if you got the message the wrong way. It was not intended for you unless you are preacher13352. Read on this comment that was posted 2mos ago. It has Marvin Sapp as the the creditor of this song. Not so. And I'm sure you know this also. Your comments are great. Keep encouraging!
All these negative, and stupid comments, just proves that you are still alive. As the old folk say, when you die you don't see nothing or hear nothing, so let's kill the flesh people. Loose yourself in the spirit, onething about it he is annointed and appointed, just stop with all the hating. For the record, I'm not from the church either, I'm from M.T ZION C.H.S.C. I'm just saying "GROW UP" and give God your total praise.
preacher, you need to get your background straight. this song was by Richard Smallwood! where are you getting your information from? you know Supt.and Bishops, but you don't know your music. However, I do like the version of this song. It sounds really good.
Sounded gr8 to me, some of you don't know good singing when you hear it, lol....Some people have a coarseness in their voices at particular stages. He wasn't hoarse, that his voice. Anointed. Dorothy Norwood, Albertina Walker, and Duranice Pace are just a few singers who come to mind that have that coarse sound.
WOW ! whatever he wearing is totally unimportant, it's this great song that he is singing along with this great choir backing him, thats All thats important, nothing else.
You know, it is so easy for us to make negative comments about someone....especially when we have no idea what the Lord has done in their lives and "the reason why they sing" like they do. This man has brought mighty deliverance through the anointing on his life. If we spend more time looking at our own reflection, truly we won't have time to look at what we see as "flaws" but the Lord sees as "worship."
limmie p, there is nothing sadder than a hater/complainer, who God obviously only blessed with a pair of loose lips. I'd love to hear your rendition of both songs, and see how much "screaming" you do. God got the glory, not you.
This anointing man of God came from NYC he was born and raised in the apostolic church The Way of The Cross Church of Christ founder and late Bishop James H. Hicks. 2325 west 118th street between Fith and Lenox streets. Their were many anointed services at this location. This comment is by a friend and brother who grew up with him. God bless
I typically love listening to Elder Kervy sing...He's definitely a truly anointed singer, but my throat was sore after listening to him scream this song
LOL. I'm mad at you. My throat was sore too. I love to hear this man sing anything. His willingness and ability to make scratchiness and slighty off notes work in a song is an amazing talent. God has truely bless us. God continue to bless and keep him.
He didn't sound hoarse to me. He was just singing in a feigned/hushed voice (voce finta) at the beginning of the song. He didn't sound like he was having trouble with the song until he started "screaming," which even anointed singers can be guilty of at times.

Does anyone know how Nathan Simmons and Paul Morton had relations with each other?
truviking87 2 years ago
Not exactly sure, but I do know that Bishop Morton was raised in the Church of God in Christ. There could be a connection there.
