  • @easyeddie771 maybe when purdue doesnt get shut out half a hundred to nothing there'll be more respect!

  • ourhonordefend don't be a scared chickenshit, i've watch the 1969 OSU/UM game 3 times or so, IYO why did OSU lose to UM in 1969. Don't be scared and answer i promise i won't hurt you, want to see if you know anything about football other than posting them. But if your answer is incompetent...................

  • @easyeddie771 Ohio State lost 11/22/69 because team physician Dr. Bob Murphy gave Rex Kern the go ahead to play with cracked ribs, a decision Dr. Murphy regretted for the rest of his life.

  • Do you have the complete OSU/Purdue on VHS, if so, how much do you want for it. I'd also, be interested all the 1969 games: TCU, Washington, MSU, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, N'Western and Purdue, i already have the 1969 Michigan game.

  • The first Phipps int. was not Sensibaugh it was Timmy Anderson!

  • WOW, THANKS FOR POSTING!!!!! Let's get the background #1 Ohio St (7-0-0) vs. #10 Purdue 7-1-0, The Buckeyes were being called the greatest college team ever assembled. Purdue was looking for revenge after OSU beat Mike Phipps and #1 Purdue 13-0 in the 1968. Even though OSU would lose to Michigan 1 week later in 1969. Osu's 1969 team is still regarded as "college football's greatest team ever assembled".

  • does anyone know what does the 100 in the Block "O" at mid field represents?

  • @TebooTedMarshall - 1969 was the 100th year of college football. Many teams wore a "100" on their helmets that year.

  • @TebooTedMarshall 100 years of college fooball

  • Amen. This is beautiful stuff. Love it. Keep it coming.

  • I really enjoy your old highlight footage of games, especially the ones like this one that are rarities from the 60's and 70's that you can't find on ESPN Classic. Thank you, and please keep it coming. Again, thanks.
