  • he should have just give additional 20 fo the girl americans should also give consideration they are working there and i bet they are not getting a alot of money for the Job. the girl said please for just 20 more and beside its hand painted thats hard to do. painting in glass

  • yeah you payed too much, you should have just pretended to leave, it works every time

  • So funny. I love these video =D

  • hey! that was handmade . . . . u can't possibly haggle that much you know they've got a family too, what if you were put into the position of the saleslady and you have a family too!

  • @L1F3daze Is no wrong, they always set the high price to confuse customer. So bargaining the right price is ok.

  • I've seen an artisan in China who paint one of those ball. For your information, the artisan is painting inside the ball. So the artisan has to put the paint brush inside the glass ball and paint backward. It's a time consuming process and requires great skills. Also, the smaller the ball is, the harder it is to paint.

This product should have high price.

  • haha this is funny

  • Mr. Carlson was gentleman-like. Some Americans and Canadians are arrogant toward the Chinese folks there.

  • he spent $7 for his father.

  • Wow! He really is bad at bargaining. Shopping was my favorite part of Beijing. Check out the Ghost Market and Pearl Market - you stick to your price and eventually they give it to you. Sometimes I was shocked at what they would finally agree to.

  • Im going to beijing in a week and I want to buy some pearls but can I really get a good deal on them?

  • Absolutely! I loved Pearl Market. Great prices on coral and turquoise too. They'll string them anyway you want them, or not. I wish I could remember what I paid, but don't forget to bargain! There was also an antique market upstairs as well, and designer knock off leather goods downstairs (shhh...big secret) lol, those were kept hidden.

  • He's not very good at bargaining... he was way out matched by that sales woman. I almost died when he said xie xie... :&

  • lol

  • and the back and forth of calculators...I just could help laughing!!!!

  • LOL, what's amazing about this place is that the vendors there could speak several different foreign languages, though many of them did not go through colleges. And usually foreigners could strike a better deal even than the local Chinese!!because they don't know the average price so they are bold enough to offer a surprisingly low price...Well done, man!!

  • LOL that sales woman is good man...
