Actually... what sounds good is better. If that happens to be a Gibson guitar, so be it. But, sometimes, that also happens to be a Fender.

I prefer Fenders myself, but that's maybe because I've never played a Gibson.

@gady100 all a matter of opinion but honestly after years of playing i have come to find that you can do anything with a Gibson while fenders are much harder to do everything with. for somethings things you would need to swap out the pickups for higher out ones or get a model with a humbucker in it. no reason to get a fender all things considered
