@luddekl it's not to terribly hard in what range he did it in this song but it will get hard just like every other instrument.  It took me two years before I could hit above the music staff consistently and with good tone. remember three buttons doesn't mean it's easy

It's all about tone...what kinda sound is comin' outta your trumpet? Then get in tune. After that, you have earned the right to start playing high notes. (Though that doesn't mean that you're good yet)

A pro that lives in my neighborhood recommended that I practice holding my breath underwater. That way, my lungs have the power to overcome the instrument...

Please play higher man, it sounds better, this is for all of your vids. If you can't just do what the greatest trumpet player of all time said ( Rafael Mendez ) " Scales, and more scales ".
