I understand she needs to be heard since she's talking through a mic that needs to reach miles and miles in front of her, but that doesn't mean she has to overact to be heard. I've acted on stage in over 10 shows in the past 6 or 7 years, so I know a little something about acting.

It has nothing to do with her talking to a mic. The overacting is intentional. it's blatantly over the top because what is portrayed is a caricature of a groupie.

It's meant to make you go "Aaaargh, what an annoying bimbo".

Hooker? I never got that impression. The album version is more toned down, but how I felt it was that Roger brought back a groupie that was very impressed with all the things he had, but he was himself too depressed to care about any of that. The groupie and her shallow enthusiasm was an annoyance more than anything else.

its not just the music or the show...im german and you should bear in mind the historical background of thius concert. when they pull down the wall b4 the last song...its like the real wall coming down in 1989. ppl from the former east and the former west germany came together to watch this masterpiece. the arguement with david is a shame i know. but its amazing what roger got going with this concert. thanks to him, and all the artists and guys behind the stage who made that possible
