@abby3496 Before watching, i wonderd as to what the numbers may end up meaning. My best guess was it would be the codes to a Cylon I.F.F system that Anders would help them implement. I was wrong but DAMN these guys know their mythic story structure. Hero is tasked. Refuses. Walks the path. Meets allies and enemies. Dies, and is resurrected to reach her full potential. Then enters a dark place and has to retrieve a relic or knowledge. This scene left me with shivers all down my spine
@Wolfen443 The series premier had a Firefly class ship on Caprica, a door on Galactica said "1701D", the overall design of this Basestar may have been a nod to B5.
Ya know, i just realized the similarity between this and the scene from Lost where Charlie uses the notes from "Good Vibrations" to turn off the computer that's blocking the radios signals.
I geuss the writers of Lost aswell as RDM had the same idea(take a popular song and insert into your plot). Though BSG takes it a lot further i think.
When she said "There must be someway out of here"....somehow I just knew before the scene showed the notes Hera drew and her saying she put numbers to them.
Then when it showed Leoben saying that she was an angel blazing with the light of God....my friend (who is a bigger BSG junkie than me) uttered the part near the end of the Hybrid's prophecy in Razor "gathered on the wings of an angel"....that's when I really got goosebumps!
I will probably post this on every video such as this that I come across. ( X-D )
This was such a powerful scene! The way they combined so many scenes that had led Kara to that moment was just breathtaking. It continuously gives me chills! One thing that always stands out to me was 'Someone to Watch Over me' clip, where is shows ONLY her playing. Whilst the whole episode her father was there UNTIL the very end.
Racetrack may be hot that I won't deny, but she was also one of Gaeta's Mutineers....she's lucky that they didn't airlock her and Skulls. At least in death they redeemed themselves.
@darthroden I feel really bad for Gaeta. The poor guy took so much shit from everyone, and furthermore in my opinion it was Zerak's mutiny, and he was just manipulating Gaeta. Felix could never possibly have made peace with cylons after what he was put through on new caprica and Tom took advantage of him. Also im biased because Gaeta was played by the actor who was L on death note and the reason i watched battlestar. It must have sucked how nobody could pronounce Gaeta right until season 2. :P
@FallenMorgan Why are you saying goodbye? We have this masterpiece forever! There will always be more sci-fi masterpieces to come. I hope to help create some one day...
All the scenes with this song in it were so awesome! All the best in the show. Too bad you could not have gotten where they came up over the moon and saw Earth...that was just...whoa....stupid people for cutting that part in half.
some say that the supernatural fired the missiles at the main colony.
She was definitely dead, the ship either was taken to the position or was on autopilot.
I go with former.

Did anyone notice how much of a Shadow Ship from Babylon 5 the target she destroys (was it a base or ship, I forgot now?) looks like?.

Who would have thought that the notes to " All Along the Watchtower " had time - space coordinates for Earth encoded in them ?
This was a video masterpiece.
knoxvilleguy2 2 years ago 5
@knoxvilleguy2 Are they really the notes to "All along the watchtower" or The Bear theme that was added to his version of the song?
screamwriter1 1 year ago
@screamwriter1
They sound a little more like Bear M.'s.

God, I already miss this show so much its crazy.
I know allot of people say this was the best show ever, but it really was the best show.
I would put it up there with The Sopranos, for acting and storylines, brilliant.
Fantastic scene.
