  • I live in the town where the carnival scene was filmed :D

  • Comment removed

  • this could have been a David Cronenberg film

  • ARE YOU ALRIGHT ?!

  • Hey it's the dude from criminal minds.

  • Biggest question though I had about this film was what did the old man mean by that if Billy ate the pie he would die thin but clean. I mean the old man couldn't have forgiven Billy for what he did as he only took the curse off him because he was being forced to.

  • So does anyone think this would be a good choice for the Nostalgia Critic to review? I mean it's a stephen king movie and was written by Tom Holland who did Child's Play and The Langoliers which he's reviewed. I've seen this film and it didn't seem as over the top as some scenes in those movies. Though I did laugh when the old man put the curse on Billy and their awkward staring at one another and when his friend was shooting at them. Those parts seemed the most over the top and silly to me.

  • BEST DIET MOVIE EVER.

  • I saw this movie as a kid and it turned me into a model citizen. Now I'm all business all the time.

  • BEEAAAARRRDDDDDD

  • Beard...

  • i always laughed when ginelli shot the gypsies camp...too bad he was killed in the novel whereas no one of the gypsies died

  • The curse of the fat ass from town.

  • and what did we learn from this movie boys and girls?....DON'T GET YOUR COCK SUCKED WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING!

  • @adamJcarter - Actually, we learned that an AK-47 assault rifle is the best way to persuade a gypsy to lift his curse!

  • Reminds me of drag me to hell

  • was that the guy from criminal minds? haha

  • the mobster is badass

  • the mobster is badass

  • "More terror. Less filling." Taglines just aren't that cheesey-cool anymore.

  • @MikeAM78 What taglines?

  • Way better than it has any right to be. Lean and Mean! And Robert John Burke KILLS in the main role.

  • @CrazyDancingJoe

You said it, friend. Underrated movie. Very unsettling, very stylish.

  • Lucinda Jenney is gorgeous!! Loved her as the prostitute in Rain Man and as the waitress in Thelma and Louise!!

  • Drag to me hell anyone ...

  • This looks terrible, the book was realy good that looks shit

  • @TheFutureComingSoon It looks terrible but it's utterly horrifying!

  • Thinnnerrrrrrrrrrr

  • freak movie!

  • U guys think he ate the pie?his daughter grabbed a slice though..movie is twisted

  • @berryposh offcourse he ate it. he did it just cause he lost his daughter, but he won't be eating it without the good doctor

  • Damn...looks like they chased us all the way to the New World.

  • the part where he says take it off, he looks and sounds alot like Christian Bale

  • I read the book back in 2003 and not until now did I know that a movie had been made.

  • 1:14 stephen king!! 8D <3

  • Stephen King's... The Nutty Professor!

  • joe mantegna was awesome in this!

  • just watched this tonight..weirdest and stupidest movie ever.

    horrible ending too.

  • That guy reminds me of Clint Eastwood, like a cheaper version of him. Also i love this movie.

  • Heyy some one answer me please. I wanna buy the book and read it. Is it worth buying? And is it scary?

  • @MrTwitch22 pretty much any stephen king book is worth buying and reading... some more than others, like IT, The Shining, The Stand and ishh

  • This movie suffers from a bad case of overacting. Great story though. Does anybody know if this was any popular, back in the day?

  • Did billies wife say he was 297 pounds! In the book the highest he weighed was 245! why would they get THAT wrong?

  • @AzureDragon245 They always change the way the book has it when doing a movie from it. They also neglected to include the fact that the old gypsy has a half-eaten nose, which i think is way more significant than what he first weighed in the book compared to the movie, don't you?

  • @AzureDragon245 yes and he lied because on the scale it says he was 300

  • I can't help laughing whenever i hear Fat Tony in this...."I don't get mad,i get stabby"!!!

  • "Gimme some french fries and some ham on rye!"

For Billy Halick, life is sweet, bigger is better, and too much is never enough. But tonight - all of that - will change...

  • the book scared the crap out of me. i'm never eating strawberry pie again.

  • @FiyaSwugPeaceOut Ohhh, do tell :) I can't find the book or anything so i'm just a bit curious

  • i remember watching this when i was little, haven't seen it in years

  • "Eat the pie. Die clean!" and "White man from town" are some of the funniest quotes ever. Next time your with some friends just bust out one of these quotes, or brush your hand on their face and say "thinnnnnnaaaa". Some of the quotes in this movie are about as funny as the whole "don't touch Dennis/karate flips to bite a guy" scene from Cabin Fever.

  • @qukarlz yeah fat people use to scare me back in '96 as well and now they're the norm!

  • What's the song at the start of the trailer?

  • His client is a mobster, doesn't that make him a bad guy?

  • I imaginated to Lemke's nose more destroy when i read the book...

  • @sHUng0 i agree

  • I loved when his wife ate the pie.

  • this movie is weird as hell!

  • Tried watching this movie one time. The only thing horrifying about it was the acting. I thought I was watching Jiminy Glick.

  • see this is why no one likes gypsys lol

  • I love this movie!!

  • Its a good movie. I just saw it.

  • lol alot of the stuff in this trailer either wasnt in the movie, or re-shot (like Joe Mantegna touching his stomach at the beginning)

  • Best movie and book EVER!!! : )

  • This was the 2nd best book published under the name of Richard Bachman. Blaze was best.

  • i wnat to see the scene in the beginning with adriana delphien in the park and the quarter... i think you know the rest but i cant see that again without the movie playing on HBO again

  • Best movie ever!

Gypsy curse! HAHA What a thing!

  • Joe Mantegnas awsome

  • Your all cursed.

  • They should make a parody and call it Fatter. Hope i don't get cursed for that comment

  • @Aizen1122 lmaoo

  • i remember seen this film in a pub one night. it frecked me out big time

  • love this movie XD

  • You don't rub the Budda, you smoke the Budda.

  • not one of his best but still creep as hellll!!!!!

  • Wow this looks like shit compared to the book!

  • @XxTheOnsetAbidexX Indeed. I always imagined lemke more old and ...zombie-ish

  • If they ever remake this, cast Christian Bale. Watch "The Machinist" and you'll see why. *wink*

  • That was such a good book. I want to see the movie

  • i'm reading it now.

  • And i just bought this book.... God I am already scared XD

  • The Gypsy guy is he dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.....

  • @puppyss yes,thats michael constantine

  • You killed my daughter now i'll curse you THINEERRRR

  • You can call me what you want, but I am right and those who persecute, slander and oppress the Roma are wrong.

  • racist book/movie made for a racist ignorant audience. If people would stop recycling this racist mythological bullshit, Roma would have a better chance at proving they are not this mythical gypsy. Someone on here said that they were scared of gypsies ever since watching this movie....This creates the fear and hatred that is projected on Roma across the world. Stephen King should have to pay reparations to Roma communities for profiting off this bullshit.

  • @mackiznay I so agree.

  • what a pile of shit

  • WHO IS THE ACTOR THAT PLAYS THE GAY HUSLTER?

  • @enuvune more so, ever noticed how all movies with gypsies cursing people it's usually because they are at fault too or because they are angry you won't do as they want. I mean, look at 'Drag me to Hell'. All she said was she would see if she could help and she couldn't yet the gypsy curses her. Maybe if they would stop and think it wouldn't be so easy to get angry at them.

  • Stephen King have better movies... This isint scary?

  • @93samppa93 excellent use of the english language

  • My favorite character in this movie is Joe Mantegna, i just love it when he shows up, it's the ultimate turning point in the story, the gypsies were finally brought to there knees by this awesome man. I love his role in this movie, the gypsies though they could get away with anything and so on Mr. Mantegna arrives and saves the day, heck to me he's the hero of this story.

  • they could have picked a better wife for the lead character, that female was bone thin and had no visible ass whatsoever.......

  • @Valiant81 fucking commie

  • ""'You want to see what the White Man from town can do when he puts his mind to it"?"

  • One of my favorite movies of Stephen King, also one of his most underrated IMO

  • This movie was verrry entertaining. It had some really funny parts but the comedy didn't ruin the horror atmosphere like some other movies. "it hasn't affected my diet anymore than it's affected yours....[breathes in real hard]" LOL!!!

  • hahahahahahahhahahhabdjasfbajshfhba

  • wow...

i havent seen this movie in...

    literally 10yrs

  • I love the part in which the old man says.. "Thinner'. He was brilliantly played by Michael Constatine of Room 222 & My big fat Greek Wedding fame. Remember this.. More Terror.. Less Filling.

  • that mobster is the guy who does the vocie for fat tony on the simpsons

  • @weyron101 correct

  • @weyron101 He's on Law and Order, too.

  • dude..where's the nose?

anyone who's read the book knows what i mean..

  • @MaryanaS01 He has the sore on his nose, it's hard to see with the quality of this footage.

  • lol

    "White Doctor From Town"

  • @JimmyHopkins2 white "man" from town

  • Can you say, "I CURSE YOU...SERGIO!!!"

Way to go Andy Samberg. An excellent digital short, with excellent greasy hair curled acting by Jon Hamm

  • When I was in 4th grade I remember seeing the trailer but never remembered the title of the movie. Anyway, today I was flipping channels and I saw the guy from the trailer and it was this movie!!! Crazy shit!!! Also, I always thought she said, "...and I dinner you" lol

  • i love this movie

  • Die clean white man from town........Die clean!!!

  • I think the movie is just as good as the book. Lot of great character actors.

  • Don't eat the cake

  • i watched this movie yesterday and what i think is every american citizen needs a gypsy curse you fatasses

  • Stephen King's book was easily much better. Aren't they all?! Yet, I still like this movie that they put together.

  • @davemelnick agreed lol

  • ive seen Drag Me to Hell,it does have the same plot:this lady didnt sell this gypse lady a home and the gypse lady put a curse on her,so the devil will come and drag her to hell.

  • Everybody pays, even for things they didn't do.

  • I finished the book today, i didn't realise there was a movie

  • Has anyone seen Drag Me to Hell? The plot to that movie is SO similar to this! SAM RAIMI HOW COULD YOU?!

  • @Araelyn real talk

  • I'm reading this book right now, but this movie looks silly, but I'm gonna watch it

  • i totally agree!

  • i've watched this movie,medyo creepy sya

  • I was desperate to see this movie. I want to read the book now.

  • This movie was filmed in my hometown. I remember as a young boy watching the carnival set get built.

  • got some autographs? :D

  • you obviously lucked-out. Congrats. It is 1 of my favorite movies & novels.

  • dissapointed that there's no Joy in the trailer

  • 0:16-0:23 isn't in the actual movie. That SCENE is, but those lines spoken in this trailer aren't

  • I love this movie!

  • pause at 1:14.

    It's him.

    lol

  • @Bobman4671 yeah it actually is. i looked on imdb and it showed him as Doctor Bangor. pretty kool he gets 2 play in one of his movies.

  • @ispankmymonkey555 Actually I believe King plays a small cameo in all of his movies. I know he was the preacher in Pet Semetary and the farmer in Creepshow.

  • ik, and he's also in the beginning of Maximum Overdrive which is a funny part. but this is one of his greatest books/movies. i liked this

  • stephen king is obviously very disturbed!

  • @mattyu21 thats wat makes him a great writer though

  • the best book ever

  • This is a bad trailer for a good movie. I enjoyed the book, and the movie. It has one of the more disturbing endings I've seen to a movie.

    And actuall
