I think he jumps out the window because he thinks he can catch the rope as well. But yes, this sequence is very cool but very implausible. How convenient that half the bad guys know parkour... otherwise the scene would have been over in 10 seconds when the hero gets away very easily ;-)

I think the pursuers in the video cearly know some parkour, otherwise as I said, with some of those moves our hero would have been away in no time and no 3 minute scene would be necessary to entertain us
