This is one of the most underated yet important rockabilly tracks ever cut. It has that mystery fullness regardless of just a few instruments in the cut, and the energy is just flt out off the charts - even moreso than Presleys original Sun stuff- just unexplainable. I always wished that Clay had more in the same vein, but he never really touched the sound quite like this again. My second cousin CJ Cheramie . The only time I saw him perform was in wedding bands when I was a kid. I always heard he had some minor hits, then he became popular in Europe in the 80's. Good stuff. Hey CJ , if you see this, Louis Cheramie"s (Grand Isle) Son Louis Says hi. Awesome songs, glad to see them all posted. My mama lost the old 45's in Katrina.
