@blott1978 It's funny. Not a single part of this video left me to view the man as a redneck. I think maybe you just need to lighten up a bit and let someone do their thing.
If you like to drink Crown Royal, then you need a whiskey enema. Of course, I have certain standards although I am not a snob, but I would want something better than Crown Royal if I were taking a whiskey enema.
I seem to be enjoying this whiskey very well myself. My brother bought me a bottle and tumbler gift set for christmas and Its a great canadian whiskey sweet and goes great with ginger ale.
The original Crown is a great whiskey. It is incredibly smooth even neat and beyond pleasing to the palate mixed with Coke. Crown is highly underrated and In am a Johnnie Walker advocate.
I like this one as well, I don't like scotch that much, I like american bourbans. This is the only canadian whiskey I can handle since it has body and is not too sweet....enjoy!
I agree bang on excellent I drink sweet beer in the summer like lagers I live in Canada so when it gets cold out I seasonaly end beer and drink crown royal in the winter and I agree it is very smooth you get that nice shot of warmth down to your chest then that great sweet wiskey flavour. great thank you.
Dude, you sold me! I've got an unopened bottle of Crown Royal from 1955. Do you think it's still safe to drink? What do you think it's worth? After this vid I feel like I wanna drink it!
I just bought the Special Reserve and the best I can say is that it's smooth and drinkable, if all you want is an inoffensive drink to take the edge off. Nothing special. I can say that at $52 in Canada, you can buy any scotch that is +-10$ and you should be able to enjoy a lot more.
I like the Shine on you crazy diamond in the background.Crown is ok but like you I'm a scotch person.I like The Balvenie doublewood and The Dalmore and also Glen Garioch for the $45.00 and under single malt's.I play Washburn exclusively;is that an ESP in the background next to the Marshall stack?Take care!
Hello, thanks for the kind words. No it is not a stack its a 50w combo with a 1965 fender amp on top. the guitar is a Custom Ax. That is my own guitar I am a luthier and been building guitars for many years. Cheers!
@peatluvr i love crown, definently a very good whiskey imo. I normally drink it straight, uncut without ice, just a finger or two, sip on it for an hour or two watching a game or a good movie.
I find the Canadian positioned perfectly between the American and the Scotch. Having no real characteristic of either, it's wonderful in it's uniqueness. Great mouth feel and individual taste.
macward...crown and coke! never do a disservice to a quality blended whiskey by adding soda. you should save the soda for the bourbon or low grade canadians. on the rocks or cut with just a bit of water is the only way to go. if you guys like the canadian blends....try pendleton. its all ill drink.
@idahochas ... Crown and Coke is actually okay! I've bought a few Canadian whiskies, as I live here, and don't like my whisky without peat. CR is very smooth, and has a very light flavour - which makes it nice for mixing. At least IMHO.
I love you man. This is the best review ever! shine on!

As a peat lover, you should try to find a whisky called Smokehead.. it's one of my personal favourites and I can assure you you will like it!
