  • Mum mum mum

  • wow... im very surprised seeing an african american lady talking about video games.. (im black) i mean.. ive just never seen any black girls even close to interested about video games

  • Do girls play games?

  • @neomysterio O_O thats sexist?

  • @eminemneo no

  • @neomysterio If she has psp and ds then you should know that she plays games!

  • Please send me you psp games fo 20 dollars

  • you're awesome, I subscribed, you're very smart

  • Very well spoken, i agree with everything here...my eyes are on the ngp. The new mario game for 3ds looks awesome.

  • I just got a 3ds and am not to sure about some things about NGP but still want it

  • your mum

  • @ConciousEcho said "it's the fact that onlly the NGP can support it because of the 4 core processor graphical tech."

......Final Fantasy 7 was a ps1 game dude. It doesn't take a "zomg 4 core processor" to remake that. Besides who would want Final Fantasy in HD on a 5 inch screen? If squareenix put that much time and effort into an HD remake of FF7 their gonna put it on a home console NOT NGP.

My point was the DS has been getting all the FF remakes so it makes sense to continue that trend.

  • @Pooverse Take time to read this. They wrote game code that was designed for the PS3, to show off it's tech capabilities, no that does not mean it is a port of the original game that is bumped up to HD. This means it is brand new code. The reason they considered making the game for the NGP is becuz of the strong demand from Sony fans, and making it for PS3 would take up too much resources, but for handhelds its cheaper, Both Sony and Nintendo get FF games, but this is designated for the NGP.

  • @ConciousEcho said "They wrote game code that was designed for the PS3, to show off it's tech capabilities"

exactly ps3. NOT NGP. NO way in HELL squarenenix would put the resources of an HD FF game into a NGP game there is NO established market. It would be financial suicide to put all that money into a game for a console that isn't even out yet. Now if NGP sells REALLY well then MAYBE. But square wouldn't even know that till about a year AFTER NGP is released.

  • @Pooverse your slow, The PSP has sold over 60 million & FF7 sold like 6, 7 million copies, even without the PSPs established success, people who wud buy the NGP just to play this version. Do u understand the words strong demand? Who wud wanna play Ocarina of time on the 3ds, y wud activision make Modern warfare 3 for NGP? becuz a new platform brings in a new experience by itself, nd new hardware sells games that's why they're making these games for NGP, the NGP is exactly where i wanna play it.

  • @ConciousEcho said ". Do u understand the words strong demand?"

Of course I do. And there is NO strong demand for an NGP FF7 because there is NO NGP user-base yet. You can't have strong demand from a group of people that don't exist yet.

YOU SAID "Who wud wanna play Ocarina of time on the 3ds" It would take twice as much money to remake OOT in HD which is MY POINT about FF. An HD remake would be way more EXPENSIVE regardless of it being on NGP or ps3 when compared to a 3D remake instead.

  • @Pooverse Evey1 that has heard about this has gone crazy, I guess u dont understand crazy fanbases. Plus a zelda remake didnt cost much, so even if FF7 was twice as much it's barely any cost compared to most games development, especially on a handheld so the demand for Squares resource investment is low. The 3ds started with no user base right, yet it sold enough even with no games on it becuz it is new tech, game devs know new tech spawns good sales, y do i have 2 explain this are u a child

  • @ConciousEcho said "even if FF7 was twice as much it's barely any cost compared to most games development, especially on a handheld so the demand for Squares resource investment is low."

Sorry but I completely disagree with you here. HD is a whole new beast when it comes to game development. To remake everything in FF7 in HD would be WAY more than double the price of a SD/3D version. One thing thats huge in the FF is the cut-scenes to redo all those in HD would be INSANELY expensive.

  • @Pooverse You know you just compared HD to a brand new technology. Glassesless 3D is brand new tech. HD is pretty old, I can get a 40 inch HD T.V. for 400-500 dollars. Compared to when it first came out, when it was 1500 dollars. The potential profitability to production cost ratio is hifghly in favor of profitability.

  • @ConciousEcho said "You know you just compared HD to a brand new technology. Glassesless 3D is brand new tech."

Has nothing to do with whats new. All you have to do (as a game developer) to achieve 3d is put two (ingame)cameras behind your character instead of one and send each image to a different eye to simulate depth. To achieve HD requires an all new set of HD textures, character models, lighting techniques, ect ect. IOM ALOT more work/money for the developer.

  • @Pooverse There's also optomizing the game, so it won't take a hit in frames if you wanna make it look up to par with todays standards. Either way regardless of which is more expensive, FF7 is already a totally mapped out game. Basically the only people that will be working on the game is a small visuals team and a few others, that little, when matched to, the appeal of new handheld tech, the FF7 fanbase, the Playstation fanbase and the fact that the PSP was already successful is a no brainer.

  • you remind me of one of those characters from total drama island her name is lashana or somthing

    wtf

  • Your the best game reviewer on youtube thats why i subscribed :)

  • 3DS will be awesome

  • I dont trust Nintendo at all. They left me out 2 dry with the wii. They make 2 many simplistic games for me. It would hurt my feelings to buy a $250 product just for 1 feature that I would just test 2 see what it looks like once then never use again. The NGP will have almost all of Nintendos 3rd party titles plus their own exclusives just like usual. I heard of a NGP Final Fantasy 7 remake in HD, getting that ASAP, & Modern Warfare 3 I'm ready for new titles and creativity, NGP all the way

  • @ConciousEcho said "I heard of a NGP Final Fantasy 7 remake in HD, getting that ASAP"

lol if any portable system is getting a remake of a Final Fantasy game its the 3DS. The DS has already had two.

  • @Pooverse The code is from the tech demo they had on the PS3 in E3 2006. It's not about what system they wanted to put it on, it's the fact that onlly the NGP can support it because of the 4 core processor graphical tech.

  • YOU CAN PLAY YOUR OLD PSP GAMES ON THE NGP as long as they are down loadable ,which most of the are so dont worry about that :)

  • the ngp is gonna be sickk!!!!

  • im actauly excited for the 3ds not soo much ngp well mabey

  • she sounds professional

  • Theres rumors theres going to be 2 NGPs 1 with 3G priced at $350 and Wi-Fi priced at $250.

  • @xDeoxyz its not a rummer sony announced it

  • @xDeoxyz I don't think it is going to be that price, i expect it to be a little more expensive. by around 50.

  • i want the ngp, because is look like the ngp is going to have more war games and first person shooters (because the ngp have 2 analog sticks)

  • i wont both of them i mean like i have the psp 3000 and the dsi xl so when the 3ds comes out and the ngp im going to get them

  • I'm getting 3DS because: 3D(of course), 3D photography, Mii Maker(take a photo of yourself, and the 3DS makes an exact replica), StreetPass, AR games( too good for words), Face Raiders, Internet(not until May :( , DSi Transfer(not until May:( ,classic portable gaming, and 3D movies.

  • Nintendo is price gouging with the 3DS. A handheld that plays decade old console enhanced remakes cost $50 more than a Wii and Xbox 360 Slim? They are doing this because their sales growth are dying since 2009 and they think they can get away it from their recent success. Had Nintendo priced 3DS to $199, they could have forced Sony to drop the NGP's price. Since Nintendo doesn't believe in lowering prices to their games to under $20, they are just as greedy and arrogant.

  • @sweetepnoy 3DS is basically going to be a portable 360 graphics wise, and its far more powerful than wii. Plus it will be the only affordable game machine with glasses free 3D. I think its justifiable

  • @sweetepnoy It's called business, moron. And no, the 3DS is pretty much reasonable in price because it has many features other devices -- iPad -- do not have. Plus, glasses-free 3D don't come cheap, and you're looking at about $300 - $1,200 and those are just cameras. Another thing, 3DS games won't be $50. Also, I bet you don't even know that the Wii sold about 85.6 million, while the DS about doubles that by 146million. Plus, the 3DS sold out in Japan the first day...

  • @sweetepnoy Another thing, the PSP launched at $250 in US, so 3DS being overpriced is beyond ridiculous. Also, with the Just Dance 2, that came out in 2010, it boost the sales of the Wii -- especially in Europe. Pokémon Black / White Version also sold very well on its first week. It sold 2.6 million copies only for two days after its release in Japan. In the US, Black and White sold more than 1.08 million copies on day alone. I don't know where you get your info, but you must be on drugs...

  • I'm not getting one till 2012. I haven't had my DSi XL for very long.

  • A chick that plays games!? OMG! *head explodes*

  • Steph what do you think of the StreetPass games news?

  • Aqua Blue isn't all too different as I'm getting Aqua Blue too.

  • 3ds FTW

  • I plan on buying both. As a kid I owned every nintendo handheld except the game boy color and the ds, but their systems are always great imo. As for the psp2, it looks like Sony's learned a little from it's last outing by coming out with more big name support from 1st and 3rd party devs. They both look like great systems right now. I'll plan to buy 1 of them around launch and the other when the prices begin to drop.

  • Great thoughts Steph! I still wished the 3DS would have a feature where you could download any game from the virtual console, whether it be SNES or N64, and play it on the 3DS.

  • @JohnnyDeppFan1433

I'm torn between the 3ds and ngp. Right now, I'm leaning toward the ngp, but if Nintendo made that download option available for the 3ds I'd probably pick that up 1st.

  • @tokinblckgie You can buy games from the virtual console, right now there are some GBC, Game gear, and gameboy games announced, but i'm sure that Nintendo will bring games from the SNES, GBA, NES, and the N64 in a few months.

  • @JohnnyDeppFan1433 ...it does...

  • @125meadowbrook No, as far as I know it will only be able to download Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

  • ngp

  • thanks bro but the psp 2 comes out a little before 2012 though it comes out late november 2011 so ahmma just give you the run down

    PSP 2-release date-november 2011 20th to 30th AT 400$-320$

    3DS-release date- March 27th 2011 At 250$

    any more questions just ask

  • 2 people only have 5 dollars to spend on a game system

  • Good Video. But i think the ts on the back is not a really helpfull feature. It looks very crappy when the sonyguy plays uncharted and use the touchscreen.

I think it will be like in the actual consolwar. The PSP2 (or NGP) will loose clearly against the 3DS.

    Greetings from Germany.

  • NGP is exciting to me as a PlayStation fan, it looks crazy stunning, and I hate portable gaming. PlayStation will have a very impressive product and that's what I'm aiming to get. Nintendo is also delivering too, that launch window you mentioned has some really amazing titles, I was stunned to hear those. Nintendo did good with the DS finally. I like both, why am I getting NGP? A little more impressive in my opinion but I'll probably get 3DS a little later. Good video.

  • Hope to see some console ports on the NGP like Bioshock, Final Fantasy 13, and Mass Effect. If the NGP is as powerful as Sony says it is then there is no excuse not to release handheld ports of great games released this generation. Heck it will probably get MW3 as its first COD. Now that would be cool. =)

  • I saw a comment from someone who wished that the rival to their favorite system would fail. Why would you want that? I don't understand some people. Personally I think I would buy the 3DS but that doesn't mean I wish that Sony fails with the NGP. As tvandlust says, it's better to celebrate the hobby rather than argue over which systems are "better".

  • I don't think there is any way the ngp will ship with all those features. It was just a tech demo of what they could fit in to a pocket device. I'm steelfoe psn

  • You rock socks, I'm going to subscribe to your channel. Keep up the good work

  • @steelfoe Thank you!

  • @StephsTooDef I know I'm lame, but StephsTooDef is just awesome, no other words could explain her.

  • @TheBrandonstokes09 Awww....that totally isn't a lame thing to say!!! LOL!!!! Thank you!

  • Well i have the original model DS, so the backwards compatibility means i'll be getting a Dsi as well as a 3DS (sort of!) so that's the way i'll probably go. Also paper mario...i loved thousand yr door.

  • Its fun to fighting about which is better the psp or the ds

  • The only reason why this 3D fad is being revived is to prevent piracy and add cost to movie tickets. Even if 3DS becomes a success, this actually helps Sony since they have been pushing 3DTV for awhile now and own their own movie studio. If 3D wins, Sony wins too. Catch-22. Sony has been pushing for 3D BEFORE Nintendo, and they are the ones accused for not innovating? LMAO! Nintendo = Sony's very own guinea pig and mass-market advertisement for this 3D trend.

  • @sweetepnoy Could you be any more of a fanboy? All you do is troll on 3DS videos, bashing the 3DS while praising everything Sony does.

  • @sweetepnoy

    get a life nerd

    stop writing walls of text

  • I like how clear and unbiased your videos are. Do you think iOS devices and smartphones are a serious threat to portable gaming devices?

  • NGP practically has better specs than my $1,600 Sony laptop I got from 5 years ago and $500 tablets of today. This helps conserve my iPhone's battery usage per day. Can do other things while I wait for the next popular franchise I want to play. When I owned a DS phat & lite, I always went back to my PSP when I got bored with gaming. Also, digital downloads means less clutter. A 32GB PSP is awesome. Over 30 games on mine without the hassle of carrying or losing physical media.

  • @sweetepnoy I see where you're coming from. That does make a lot of sense.

  • I think that not being able to play UMDs games on the PSP2 is not gonna be such a big deal like it has been with the PS3 regarding PS2 games. The PSPs library of games hasn't had the kind of appeal that the PS1 and PS2 had so as a result a certain % of PSP owners hardly even use theirs to play games.

  • @ultimatepower I don't know.....the PSP library might not be as prominent as the PS1/PS2 but there are definitely a bunch of classic games. I'm sad to see them not support it any more.

  • you just got a subscriber, i like your vids.

  • @pooody Thank you!

  • call of duty on NGP, this could potentially take psp to the top

  • 3D + ACCELEROMETER DO NOT MIX! Just wait when you try to tilt the 3DS and it already distorts the 3D effect because you need to have it completely still. Its a bad design flaw. I've been saying it over and over that this stupid 3D is a gimmick and not a necessary step to enhance gameplay. Only certain games. I now predict that NGP will outsell 3DS. Especially with PS Suite opening up to Android owners. First time Nintendo will finally be beaten in handhelds.

  • Cant wait for the 3DS! As for Sony, they keep shooting themselves in the foot not making there systems backwards compatible! The should of learned from the PSP go. If it had a UMD it would of sold twice as much.

  • I already preordered the 3ds because I must have DOA Dimensions. The NGP is still way too early in its development cycle for me to pass a fair judgement. Its like when people were passing judgement on the 3ds back when they first announced it and all we knew were the basic concepts. I do however fear a huge price on the ngp (hopefully just a code name) because of that oled screen because they dont come cheap.

  • Nintendo and their sheep keep banking and waiting for the next "delayed" Miyamoto game while other franchises from other companies rack up "Game of the Year" awards. At least if you are bored waiting for any good games on the NGP, you can use it as an internet tablet and multimedia player. Play free or cheap Android games as well. Sony probably has better audio and cameras on it. While Nintendo has a 5-year plan with 3DS, Sony is fine supporting NGP for 10 years.

  • 3DS FTW! Pre ordered myne In aqua blue. Can't wait. I hope the NGP fails miserably. No offense to Sony fans.

  • @DemoMonster7 Why do you wish for it to fail?

  • @StephsTooDef because hes obviously a fanboy riding the nintendo dick train.

i will admit than i way WAY more hyped for the ngp, but wishing nintendo to fail would be retarded and a stupid hate statement, i will buy both but wont shit on nintendo only because i like the ngp more than the 3ds.....because...i am a gamer...not a retarded child blindly hatin on because of their allegiance to a peice of plastic.

  • @DemoMonster7 a Nintendo fanboy appears (a stupid one at that)

  • @keysoffate4 a stupid one?? how am i stupid just because im saying my own opinion on some hmm?

  • For once, I want to see Nintendo create a new M-rated franchise edgier than Eternal Darkness. I want to see them grow up. Like Anne Hathaway showing her tits in Havoc or the nude death scene in Spielberg's Munich. Tron:Legacy was PG, but it was dark, sleek, and sexy for a Disney. Nintendo needs to take chances with their image and build edgier franchises. But nope, they rehash. They innovate one way like gameplay and are still several steps behind in other ways.

  • @sweetepnoy WOW!!!!

I might be in the minority here but I like Nintendo putting games for those franchises that you call rehashes. Sure we have our fair share of Mario's and Zelda's but thats really it. I would love to see them support more Starfox, Pikmin and Kirby games. Hell I'll even go for a Wave Race or FX Zero reinvented!

  • @StephsTooDef Support more Kirby? Theirs been like 6 Kirby games this gen. lol

We do need more Pikmin, Wave Race, and F-Zero though... Sin & Punishment 2 made up for the lack of Starfox. <3

  • @IRSPONGEBOB Actually there has only been 4 Kirby games this gen and 3 of them were DS title. 2 of those DS titles were just remakes. I would love to see something fresh when it comes to Kirby (something fresh like Epic Yarn).

  • @StephsTooDef Their are actually 2 new Kirby games coming. One for the DS, and one for the Wii.

  • @sweetepnoy Is that a joke? You think Nintendo is falling behind because they haven't made a game that titilates you? "Like Anne Hathaway showing her tits in Havoc"? Okay, let's say the put nudity into a game, what would the purpose of said nudity be? Purity? Primality? Vulnerability? How is including female nudity for the arousal of a male audience grown up? It's sophomoric and sexist not grown up. Nintendo doesn't need to include nudity, it would serve no pracitcal purpose.

  • @sweetepnoy

Um...HELL NO. I don't want Nintendo selling out and getting away from their core values just to satisfy a few "hardcore gamers" on the internet. Nintendo tried to reach out to the hardcore gamer with the GameCube and look where that got them. They need to continue to be innovative, unique, and different from their competition. That's what us Nintendo fans want, and that's what they'll continue to deliver.

  • @sweetepnoy thats why there making resident evil, splinter cell, dead or alive, and metal gear.

  • @sweetepnoy Mature =/= Automatically good

And when it comes to video games, GAMEPLAY matters more than how mature or explicit a game can be. Don't compare video games to movies.

  • I really don't like handhelds anymore so I am not looking forward to any of them. But I am interested to see the price of the NGP and how they both do in the market.

  • still both is kool but we cant say to much about the NGP right now

  • If I pick the 3ds up on launch day what games are going to be available?

  • @TheMountainman14 I know Steel Diver, Dead or Alive, Street Fighter IV, Nintendogs and Cats, Ridge Racer 3D for sure. THere might be others but those are the ones I remember being mentioned for release.

  • All I know is 360 is ASS and paying for online is FREKING BOGUS! All hail PS3 and NGP!!

  • Great video, Steph, as usual. :)

I'm looking forward to the 3DS more than the NGP, but I'm sure both are going to be great. That being said, I'm not buying the 3DS at launch... I;m going to wait until at least the summer so I can get my hands on some of the good games I'm looking forward to: OoT, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, maybe Kingdom Hearts 3DS, etc. Both systems should be great, in their own ways, though.

  • @LegendarySword16 Thank you!! Totally understandable. There is no problem with not being an early adaptor. I actually envy you for that. It's a trait I definitely don't have.

  • psp2 is beast. im sold on psp2 (ngp) if it is less than $300 dollars (without tax)

  • @trainlover98 Same with me......we'll see where Sony goes with this.

  • @trainlover98 Its gonna cost 200 Europian dolars in holland! :D

  • @26youb wats that in us

  • @trainlover98 Idk Cuz i live in holland

  • Cell phone gaming will KILL them both off eventually. While Sony and Nintendo try to bash each other, Apple is taking so many of their customers away without even really trying. You can't beat the important of having a cell phone. Once more XPERIA Play phones come out and the shine and luster wears off for both 3DS and NGP, they will be just another brick to carry around. Cell phones are really the future to everything in the palm of our hands.

  • I'm looking forward to both portable consoles.

  • wait, so how is it that I'm going to be able to play gameboy advance games on the 3ds?

  • @MobiusX You'll be able to play those Gameboy games by downloading them off of Nintendo's eshop

  • @StephsTooDef does this mean that I have to buy an SD card to put these games in?

  • @MobiusX no, the 3DS brings a 2GB SD card

  • @StephsTooDef wait, it says on the site that you wont be able to download gameboy advance games, so now I don't even know if I should get the 3DS

  • NGP=Nintendo got pawned

  • @ojay347 no

  • @ojay347 WOW

  • @StephsTooDef in fact they should change the name to NGCS....Nintendo Got Curb Stomped(gen-x style)

  • @ojay347 Or lets not be a douche bag fanboy.

  • @StephsTooDef what do you think about GP2X? too much freedom, or too much geek? (i'm asking this because i love that idea of being able to play the indie games i coded, without having to pay and learn expensive development tools)

  • I feel old and out of touch, lol.

Not really excited about 3D technology in anything, especially handheld gaming. I love my DSi and am not really looking forward to the 3DS (and the higher priced games that come with it). The dual-screens were solid and led to some innovative cute games (which Nintendo does well), but now it looks like they're probably going to focus on just the 3D experience over innovation.

  • I'm not big into portable gaming but your always well informed and keep me interested! ^_^ <3

  • Animal Crossing 3D! I will definitely be buying the 3DS both game systems look good but I'm more of a Nintendo fan :)

  • @sassygirl8324 I totally forgot about Animal Crossing.

  • id rather have the NGP because two dual sticks and graphics as good as a ps3 i think that just cant be beat

  • its spose to be bad for your eyes

  • IM very excited for NGP but what will do a better impact? i think it will be 3DS because 3Ds going more for the casual gamers market and NGP is for more older market , They’re trying to appeal to customers from a different direction than us,” Iwata said. “ thats the guy from Nintendo saying his thoughts about NGP and its tru3 and you cant like about it and HEY NINTENDO WAS ALWAYS A CASUAL SYSTEM/COMPANY SINCE IT STARTED BUT NO ONE REALLY DID NOT KNOW THAT BECAUSE BACK IN THE DAY MATTER IF FUN

  • @MrSonyEntertainment BUT W/E ALSO THE HANDHELD MARKET IS OWN BY CASUAL GAMERS NOT HARDCORE GAMERS BUT W/E!!! YEA I WONDER Y NOT MARIO :( IM BUYING BOTH SYSTEM TWO

  • @MrSonyEntertainment BUT W/E ALSO THE HANDHELD MARKET IS OWN BY CASUAL GAMERS NOT HARDCORE GAMERS BUT W/E!!! YEA I WONDER WHY NO MARIO :( IM BUYING BOTH SYSTEM TWO

  • @MrSonyEntertainment Obviously the 3DS will have a bigger impact.

Not only is 3D a very big thing right now, it also has Nintendo's very popular software on it.

  • Damn, $250? I struggled getting the $150 DSi lol

  • My predictions and opinion!

    - Due to *possible* high price of NGP and lack of games that appeal to the bigger public(the Nintendo audience), 3DS could sell more.

    - NGP will have more advanced games, more console like games than 3DS, because NGP's hardware and specs are clearly better than 3DS. (It's useless arguing "which one is better" don't be blind)

And more advance games, means more FPS, graphical crazy stuff, and the Call of Duty public is big, that means a lot of sales too for NGP!

  • @bcta302 YES YOUR CORRECT BUT SOME PEOPLE DON'T LIKE SAYING THAT THE HANDHELD MARKET ( NINTENDO AUDIENCE ) IS CASUAL GAMERS BUT IT IS THOUGH

  • Expect a $400-$500 price for the NGP.

  • I am not really super excited about dual sticks, but they are convenient for left handers. I am more a fan of Wii pointer and DS touch screen control than dual analog. Plus I get tired of every game playing the same way with just dual sticks on everything. Everything ends up being the same. Gears of War, Uncharted, Just Cause and many others pretty much control the same and just feel like reskinned games because of it.

  • Im geting both. But for me 3ds is higher on my radar software wise i like what im seeing(streetfighter zelda kingdomhearts mgs starfox kid icrus doa residentevil.(Once they tell me I can download gba games then shit just got real=kevin heart voice)Ngp Im really only looking forward 2 the power of the system uncharted any mgs or gta games o yeah killzone also with an updated psn catalog.

  • Nice advertisement partner, lol!

  • i already pre order the 3DS in Comso Black

i'm so getting the Psp2 Ngp When that come out as well :D

  • Nice Video Steph! I will be picking up the 3DS on MARCH 27th XD ...and if the NGP is under 300 dollars i will pick it up also. Cant wait for some Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Pokemon in 3D. also Uncharted for NGP. This is a great year for video games and i will be broke lol. I wonder if Microsoft has something planed for a portable system yet...

  • NGP = Power in your hands

    3DS = 3D in your hands.

I'd take power over 3D anyday, I hate it at the movies, and I hate it with my gaming.

  • I really like my original PSP.. but honestly, the 3DS sounds really interesting and new. The NGP just sounds like a more powerful PSP, which is... ok.

  • I'm rather curious about the NGP pricepoint. The PSP was $400 at launch here, and are still $279 currently for the PSP-3000. I'm thinking the NGP will launch for more that $400 here. Maybe $450.With the 3DS we don't yet have a price. Worst case scenario is probably $399, best case $299, rumors for $349.I'm definitely going to get the 3DS on launch, but there will have to be some insane launch title to get me to commit to a NGP on launch.

  • @Charassic

Actually The Psp Was 250 at launch

if you live in the u.s. that is

  • @DraBahamutShirocenny It was 250 € aswell in Europe (x

  • @DraBahamutShirocenny

    I live in Australia.

  • NGP = Near Gas Prices...

Sony's new handheld does look nice but I'm just worried about that price. Also, I am disappointed that It doesn't take UMD's.

I suppose I prefer the 3DS. Mostly because of the new games.

  • I am way more excited for the 3DS, i feel that the 3ds is innovative and new. and although the NGP is powerful, it just doesnt bring anything new to the table, that would make me want to buy it

  • The NGP, like the PSP, is a very impressive piece of kit. But Sony better not continue to play their little game of 'The Price is Wrong' with this device. Pricing (along with rampant piracy) doomed the PSP, it also doomed PS3. If the NGP comes out at $400 compared to a 3DS, a system also capable of home console-like games, for $250 then the NGP is in trouble right out of the gate.

We'll see what happens. I'm looking forward to both systems, I just hope Sony doesn't go crazy with the price.

  • NGP=PSP, all power, no games, just water down ports..the 3DS= earlier release date= costs less=3D=great games=win.

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 Great games? HAH! Over 1000 + titles on the DS and only 3 are "great". Seeing as the rest are kiddie lollie pop games like ICarly, Barbie, Take care of a fake puppy type games, they are just remakes of them self's. I have a DSlite, and its just setting there gathering dust, much like a lot of Wii's.

  • its stupid that people can already assume so much and do these vs type videos when they arent even out yet :P

  • @gamereviewsss You obviously didn't watch the video.

  • @gamereviewsss it called doing research and i like when people do this

  • @StephsTooDef good vid finally i see someone that is not a bias thumbs up.

  • what's the whole point of the ps3 now? I mean if psp2 has the same graphics as ps3 all developers would want their games on the psp2 because after all, portables are more popular in Japan.

  • Great Video! But by the way the aqua blue is the more popular one.

  • I don't understand how people can claim that the 3DS will be better then the NGP or vice versa. They haven't even been released yet and people are already making silly observations.

  • I think I'm going to wait on the handhelds this year. I'm not really into 3d that much. though I' am interested with those cameras in the 3ds

  • Okay The PSP2 or NGP will have PlayStation Suite which is basiclly the tag system. PlayStation Network is better than Wii and DS multiplayer, the NGP has TWO analog sticks, a touchscreen and a TOUCHpad. Kind of funny eh? But 3D sounds interesting. BTW NGP has better graphics and will have better games for people who like shooters. The PSP and 3DS have Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil.

  • I have those same Standing lamps in the background. haha

  • When you buy another Nintendo platform since N64, it always boils down to having Nintendo games being the ONLY AAA titles to look for. Their third support is almost non-existent and I personally don't care about MGS3 now when I already played it on a PS2. I am not into 3D in anything. It is a unnecessary step and worse than the motion control bullshit the Wii helped spawned. I want to sit and relax to play games. View it in any angle. Just cause NGP targets the higher-end doesn't make it worse.

  • @sweetepnoy 3d is the next step. to evolve generations, you need innovation, thats why i know psp2 will go down the same path as psp. and 3ds will go the same way as ds did. selling a lot. getting a great amount of great games.
