  • i picked up mine yesterday and i love it

soon i upload some vids pls check it

    greets from Holland

  • I just listened to your vid on the traditional, and now this vid on the 58'.And you know what? They sound the same. Things that make you go hmmm.

  • This guitar is not equipped with Burstbucker Pro pickups. The stock pickups on the '58 Reissues are Burstbucker 1 in the bridge and Burstbucker 2 in the neck.

  • @murfdog19 almost there murf, It's burstbucker 1 at the NECK and burstbucker 2 at the BRIDGE position. One sick guitar.

  • @LesterPaul01 I was just making sure you were paying attention! Haha

  • @murfdog19 Oh, sir murfdog when it comes to gear I can't afford, all I can pay is Attention! LOL. But seriously, My O8' trad sounds as good as a R8. Maybe a little smoother because Burstbucker pups are wound uneven. I can't see spending the coin on the R8 just because it has Bumble bee caps. Mine has a one piece back and that's a selling point for the R8. I saved 2000 buks and still can rock on! Peace.

  • @LesterPaul01 I have an '08 Traditional as well, and it sounds great to my ears. I do hear a difference between the Trads and the R8. The R8 seems to have a little more bite and air to the tone. I'm sure if I put some 500k CTS pots, faux Bumblebees and some Burstbuckers in my Trad, it would get pretty close.

  • @murfdog19 Now, if you can get a real 58' les paul, Now, you are on to the sweetest tone on the planet. Rock on!

  • Does this model come with push/pull knobs or no?

  • @vanzeposmith910 No this model does not come with push pull. In 1958 push pull didnt come standard on gibson I believe. I do however have a 2006 VOS 58' reissue and it is a very amazing guitar!

  • @vanzeposmith910 It does not come with the push-pull knobs.

  • nice !

  • Fantastic intro!

  • @SuperKingDonkey I hear this guitar is about 9 pounds. I have a 10 pound guitar and at first it might seem a bit heavy, but you get used to it over a while.

  • RE: The toggle switch...what does up mean and what does down mean? Anybody I would appreciate it.

  • @LAGDB01 Up Means neck pickup and down means bridge pickup.

  • @LAGDB01 Rhythm is up and treble is down

  • The vibe of the 58 is really cool.

  • @NstuffMusic

Can you tell me how the sound compares to the 59 vos? I know the neck size is different but I'm just wondering what other differences there are. Thanks.

  • @stretch90 They are pretty close but our 59 sound a little brighter.

  • i am thinking about a 58 or a traditional, wich one would you rather have, or maybe a custo idk...

  • planked

  • I would love you to show a quick snapshot of your amp settings at the beginning of the video - that would be really useful. Keep up the good work.

  • Fender Blues DeVille

  • @NstuffMusic its a hot rod deville

  • best finish ever i love the vintage cherry sunburst, the 58' body is nice too i love gibson

  • what amp is that?

  • how fat is the neck of a '59 compared to a '60?

  • @horsecoollover19 I believe the 59 has a little rounder fatter neck.

  • This guitar is awesome. Just played it.

  • What is the weight of the guitar? Is the 58 neck "fatter" than the earlier 50's models? Are these still available at $2999.99 with case? Thanks!

  • @JayDeeSG It weighs 9 Lbs. The neck is a little fatter but it feels really good this is one of my favorite LP that we have in stock for playability and sound. Yes we can still do the $2999.99 with case. call Jason 412-828-1003

  • @NstuffMusic I can't find this guitar or any VOS guitars on your website, how can I order? I live in Belgium (Europe)

  • @Laurentvb92 send an email to us telling us which one you are interested in and we will quote you a killer price. Or you can call Dave at (412) 828-1003

  • @NstuffMusic Is there any difference from the 1960 Gibson Les Paul VOS from the '58 other than the price and the neck?

  • @vanzeposmith910 The biggest other than the slim neck is the Flame Maple top instead of the plain maple top.

  • did this one come worn? because at my local guitar center i was playing this guitar and it looked like it was from 1958 (worn wise)

  • @GNRROCKER12 It doesn't come worn with like scratches and paint missing like the Relic stuff but the finish is aged like it was taken care of since 1958 which give's it a hazy look.

  • @NstuffMusic does the fret dots on the side of neck come worn as well? also what is the price of this guitar from nstuffmusic?

  • @GNRROCKER12 The dot are not worn but the binding on the neck has a vintage tint to it. The price is $2999.99 with case and free shipping if your not out of the country. call 412-828-1003 and ask for Jason if interested in ordering.

  • $3364.00, Dude that's an awesome price!

  • I love it that NstuffMusic actually joins in to the conversation’s in the comments, it stops stupid people, thank you.

  • The 58' reissue comes with BB pros? I thought 58' reissues come with BB1 and 2 pups?? Do you know how much that beaut. weighs?

  • @LesterPaul01 You are correct it's a BB 1 in the neck and a BB 2 in the bridge. It weighs 9.1 Lbs. Our sale price is $3364.00 with case and free shipping. Any questions call 412.828.1003

  • @NstuffMusic How much do you charge for a Gibson Les Paul standard traditional Gold top?

  • @officershrute $1999.99 WITH CASE AND FREE SHIPPING IF YOUR NOT OUT OF THE COUNTRY. CALL NSTUFFMUSIC AT 412.828.1003

  • Does the Plain Top refers to a non-flamed top? or does it mean that the body is a non-carved top just like a Junior body for example? Thanks

  • @alvaritooooooooo It means non flamed top. $3364.00 at nstuffmusic 412-828-1003

  • My dream guitar, gotta save $3600 first!

  • A DREAM IN PLAIN TOP

  • what is the difference between a 59 and a 60

  • @Disco234jockey The 1960’s Standard changed the pigment in its Cherry Sunburst finish to a brighter Red. The neck has a slim taper profile the '59 is fatter and rounder. We have a 59 VOS in stock in Worn Cherry and Iced Tea. $4800.00 with case. Not on or site you will have to call 412.828.1003

  • @HappyMrFellow The 57 is a gold top. The 58 is a plain top.Tthe 59 has the highly figured flame top.

  • @NstuffMusic I've read in Gibson forum that the '59 costs more 'cause the neck is thinner and it doesn't weight as much as the '57, '58.

So if it's true, i'd go with the '59. And if it isn't i'd go with the '58, i mean, thinner neck for fast play doesn't worth 2 grand alone.

Also, can you please tell me the difference between the '59 and the '60 ? I know the jumbo frets, but nothing else.

  • @Taikamya The '59 has a slightly thinner neck than the '58 also the '58 cost less because it's a plain top the'59 has a highly figured flame maple top. The weights are about the same each one varies. The '59 is $4800.00 the '58 is $3300.00 both come with case. The '60 has the slim taper neck it's the thinnest same price as the '59. The '57 Gold Top is $3300.00 with case. Call nstuffmusic 412.828.1003 if you need anything.

  • @NstuffMusic My 58 is a beautiful flame Top.

  • Quality demo, playing and information.

  • nice demo
