HOLY SHIT!!! The Venezuelan Fiat Regatta never came with all this technologic equipment... but it was a sucess and still be one of the most reliable car sold in Venezuela in the 80's (well, probably someone told me the opposite!)
true they were bad cars hence when was the last time you saw 1?????
id still have another 1 tho, i never had any problems with clutch cables or ball joints, but the exhaust kept snapping, the carb needed striping down and cleaning every few days, it wouldnt run if you let the tank get less than a quoter full and none of the electric gadgets worked, but id still have another just for the novelty value and to relive my youth. i loved the colour, metalic grigio juniper (green to normal people)
i had 1 as my first car, it was a great car when it ran properly (which wasnt often) none of the electrics worked, but i still loved it, id have another 1, now i can aford to buy the parts £80 for a suspension nut from a fiat dealer in 1997
They were junk, the only car i knew that wore out a bottom ball joint in 10,000miles, and you couldnt keep it in clutch cables or front pads. The 100s was quick and fun
