Fantastic Vid, thanks. My dad was from there and came to Aus after WWII. I am taking my fam there in Jan 2010. I have looked on Google Maps etc for the place he grew up, Castlecroft, but cant find it. Have street names been changed since he left? Any help would be greatly appreciated. It look beautiful.
Dalmellington Parish Church (Formerly "The Kirk o` The Covenant"), has a commanding position overlooking the town. It was built in 1846 and made use of local Dunaskin sandstone. It has some excellent examples of stained glass windows. The red doors are said to symbolise the blood of The Covenanters.
Stumbled on this one, it's great with Isla Grant accompanyment.I Used to drive buses from Ayr to "Dameliton".now living in Australia, nae mair getting snawed in at Patna ON THE WYE BACK. Brought back memories of the good people of Dalmellington

Well spotted Stewart. Even TomTom's GPS system is WRONG. I notified them and that was the last I ever heard.
Virtually EVERY map now and online are all wrong.
