I'm a good enough violinist to at least know who's good, and this guy is GOOD.

It's easy to be seduced by 11 yo kids playing Paganini and Tchaikovsky, but that sort of precocity is really not that rare. I was one of those kids...and I know tons of other kids like that too. The real question is how many of those little kids mature into something like THIS. THAT is what is rare...

Which is also why I'll be stuck in a cubicle my whole life instead of playing music...

No matter how talented or devoted to playing music, a kid will always make mistakes. It takes years of experience and diligent refining to become as good as Mr. Barati here. As for you, Maverick since you obviously love music, keep on playing! You are old enough now to let go of your precocity, plus you are not in that cubicle 24/7. Good luck and do your best.
