hi, im planning to buy a new notebook..

and im trying to figure out which laptop is better either this n55sf or n53sn?

my most demanding use will be gaming, watching blu-ray video, and alittle bit of writing..

which one is the best for me?

@ulquiorra2129 I don't think the n53sn has a blu-ray reader, My n55sf should arrive tomorrow morning(12 h from now). it's full hd, very good graphic card (gt 555m) and cpu and it doesn't even weight that much, only 2,7 kg.

@ulquiorra2129 well, I think the 55sf will heat up faster then the n53sn during gaming but that just because the 55sf comes with a geforce 555m which is a lot better for gaming. For the rest of the tasks it won't make any difference. Also if you plan on gaming and don't need a portable solution to play on for like when you go away (who would wanna miss their vacation and play games in the hotel room?) then it's best to invest your money in a desktop.Asus UX21 ->good laptop

Hi, is this the same as Asus N55SF-S1036V??? Because apparently Asus N55SF-S1036V has 8GB RAM, but not sure if information is correct.

ASUS N55SF is 15 inch in this series. There is also N45SF (14 inch) and N75SF (17 inch) models. Codes coming after N55SF, points the configurations. You saw the 8GB model. But our model has 4GB RAM. Body Shape is all the same

We didnt try it with Sony Vegas 10 but its getting hot when working on Full HD videos. Sometimes we saw 90 Degrees.

i can say N55SF is stylish product. Material quality is not perfect but it has good specs. Bang&Olufsen sound and seperate subwoofer is good. My rate:7,5/10

@Mohammad2mt : it measures 15.40" x 10.60" x 1.20" - 1.50" and 2.9 kg (6.50 lbs)..So not slim and not light. But it has Core i7 processor, 4GB RAM, Full HD Screen and Bang&Olufsen sound system..Battery life is about 4 hours.

In normal mode we didnt see high temparatures. But when playing a game with good graphics its getting hot. For Example COD: Modern Warfare 2..Also Full HD movies making it hot too. You said 'some games' and maybe your'e not a gamer. So i think it wont be a problem for you.

@ScrollVideo when you say high temperatures, it's around what? 80ºC, something like because i have a laptop and when i'm playing nice graphics games it comes around 98ºC and that´s a lot to me.i like to play COD, battlefield 3 (already bought it) that's why i'm choosing very carefully but so far thank you very much for your help.
