@USMCFUCKYEA - well in the bronx there is Yankee Stadium - Grand Concourse - City Island - Botanical Gardens - Bronx Zoo. Depends on what you want to see. As far as cops..walking on White Plains Rd with lemonade in a cup I got stopped to make sure it wasn't liquor... that's how it goes. For the most part the cops got it locked... but it's still a big city so there will still be crime. Only saw a few minutes of that movie..saw enough crime in life already.. I don't like those movies anymore.
@USMCFUCKYEA - it depends... some around 50,000 while some are 100,000. Well I'm talking 70's to the 90's to prove my point... that now in the 00's the Bronx (and Harlem) is MUCH improved. Regardless of how ppl complain about the NYPD.... Many of the criminals that are not dead or in prison have skipped town and gone to places where they don't have to worry about cops. Of course it is still city so there is crime.. but it's nowhere near before. You can feel the difference!
@USMCFUCKYEA - Are you kidding? There were times in Harlem one precinct would have 100 homicides in a year. Likewise in the Bronx... there were times one precinct would have that much. I know for sure the 46th precint had 93 by itself in the 1990's. Being crime ridden is not something to be glad about. Who wants to remain a slum?? The Bronx was unlivable back then. I never played the game you are talking about so I have no idea but I'm sure you kind find videos on YouTube.
@USMCFUCKYEA - read what I said "much improved.... still a long way to do". If you were in the Bronx in the 80's and 90's... you know without question that there is NOT the level of violence that it used to be. You can't be serious. There are hardly as many abandoned buildings. It is very different - get real. This is 2011 not 1981!
the sad thing is that is bad things that sell...the media gets hype off of the bad. anyone who hasn't been in the Bronx in 20 years and goes back will tell you it is MUCH improved... of course there is still a long way to go though.
Dude, this video rocks. And i totally agree that you have to defend where your from cuz people just dont know, and when you dont know how awesome the bronx is then u should just shut the hell up.
