@templeamarok by wider range I mean they contrl what the film is about. It's their overall vision and the directr brings it to life.

@albinojedi I could be comoletely wrong in this but the way I've always figured it is that directors control how the film is shot, the actors, and each scene. Producers control a wider range, making sure that everything is on schedule, editing is taken care of, everyone is doing their jobs, and things are going as planned. Like I said, I could be wrong, if so I'm sure someone will yell at me and you'll get their answer from them.

I've never really understood the difference in duties of a producer vs director. Since you said you guys are each taking one of those roles for one film, and then switching for the next film, what does that mean for you guys? (speaking in duties, responsibilities, and what it means to be a director vs producer on a short film)

Past Bing maybe a little lost and uncertain about his future, (and kinda crap at vlogging) but what I like most about this project is that he's also put a lot of faith in Future Bing and that FB has his back. It's a weird relationship but I think it says a lot about how much perseverance and support you need with creative endeavors.
