  • if you reward bad behavior... you get more bad behavior.

  • @OneQuestion99 Mmmm so you consider trying to survive a bad behavior???

  • @garcia21rhs

Suppose a thief is starving. Suppose his children are starving. Should he be allowed to rob a bank so that he can "survive"?

Suppose I want to "survive". Can I break into your home and steal food from your fridge?

Use **LOGIC** my friend. I realize that you illegals want to gain entry to our nation guilt free, and effort free. But life is not like that.

    How old are you?

  • @OneQuestion99 lol nope their is no need to steel a back because that's where HUMANITY comes! you dont let someone starve, you help him! USE "LOGIC" now what illegal is it guilty for coming to the U.S.when this country invaded Texas? what do you have to say about that?

I'm 16 years old dude but I am unfortunate to inform you that I don't count my life according how old I am because that's just a number. I could tell that based on my experiences I'm a lot older and mature than you

  • @OneQuestion99 You are right about "Guilt free" and "Effort free." Dont forget the violin, because they love to play it for sympathy.

  • Doesnt matter if the parents brought them in illegally. They are still citizens of the country they came from. And even if this passed, guess what will happen? It will attract more illegal immigrants to enter the US. The Dream Act doesn't solve a problem for America. It just makes an already bad situation for the American people even worst. If you keep adding sugar to the pot, you're gonna attract more ants. By the way Gabriela, nice tits. But that wont get my vote.

  • @paul19781105 we dont need the both because it happened that the dream act passed in Cali therefore STFU :) and by the way is that how you treat your mom? looking at her tits? lol

  • @garcia21rhs Enjoy it while it lasts, because American citizens are up in arms to crush it. Unbelievable that you actually think this is a good thing. Lets put it this way: Law passes that I can access your bank account and withdraw YOUR money because I don't have none regardless of how badly you need it for yourself and your family. Would you support it? No. Same rule applies in regards to education. Many Californians cant go to college just because illegals are taking the seats.

  • @paul19781105 or maybe they dont go to college because they are lazy and think they have everything! Now what do you think we are doing? we pay taxes as well so therefore we are paying for the education. I'm not saying its the right to come illegal, but what I'm saying is that its worse when you hate people because they are seeking a better life! now that my brother that is a crime

  • @TBow009 ya, I've heard that before. But I really dont think the jews are to blame. But we are, and by we I mean white liberals with a utopia mindset.

  • @TBow009 Agreed, you and I need to understand that many people use there emotions to think. This is why you have such horrible disastrous experiments like multiculturalism. The idea that yes you the American people may have created the most powerful nation ever on earth, but you wont last another day unless you import 20,000 Guatemalans... Seriously, who thinks this way?

  • no, because its not america's job to feed mexicans. Just like it's not Mexico's job to feed America.

    I LOVE GULLIBLE GRINGOS!!!!

  • man if you are caucasian or african american your argument is as valid as a mexican-american, whos parents are illegal, so STFU and stop whining,

  • I don't understand why anyone would oppose this bill. This would greatly help alot of people become good citizens of this country. It would BENEFIT the country. All the people going through this act will either be in the military or attending a four year university? What is so wrong with that. It's not not like this Act is creating bad citizens, it's creating better ones. Perhaps better citizens than the ones here that don't go to college and aren't in the military.

  • Defeat the dream act at all costs......Illegal immigration is trying to force itself upon us.....dream act is nothing BUT the SAME ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION that we have been fighting for years......Only this time they are trying to serve it up on a plate wiyh a side of bullshit and whipped cream......They figure they would try the passive approach to reconquista.....so it does'nt attract any unwanted attention....dream on aztlan.....PfffffT!

  • DEPORT!

  • DREAM Act applicants would be subject to rigorous criminal background checks and reviews. All criminal grounds of inadmissibility and removability that apply to other aliens seeking lawful permanent resident status would apply and bar criminal aliens from gaining conditional or unconditional LPR status under the DREAM Act. Additionally, decisions to grant status are discretionary, and any alien with a criminal record not automatically barred by these provisions would only be granted status

  • @erik4727 finally, another individual whom understands how beneficial this bill could have been. the most recent version of the dream act was riddled with stipulations and prerequisites that appeased even the most hardened opposer. to retort that this bill was an amnesty is pure lunacy, these individuals grew up here, and graduated from high school, they're already here, why not use the resources, and give them a chance to prosper and give back to the communities that helped raise them ?

  • @mellomex85 That's what I've been trying to say.

  • @mellomex85 So, I didn't know my parents robbed a bank, I was a kid when they committed the crime. and I already have the money they left me from their criminal activities so I might as well be able to keep it? After all you'll use it to do good?

  • @Alan00170 iv'e never stated i was pro illegal immigration, neither am i an open border advocate.however, it seems to me that the dream act would greatly impact not just the young men and women that stand to benefit, but also the economy.the hundreds of thousands of individuals whom are forced to live in the shadows, will immediately be able to assimilate into normal american life i.e buy cars, pay car insurance, start businesses, pay college tuition etc. all of which would help boost the economy.

  • @mellomex85 But illegal immigrants can already buy a car, they can already buy auto insurance, they can already start a business. Illegal immigrants can already "pay" college tuition, they just can't get free tuition. None of the things you mentioned are prohibited to an illegal immigrant. They can even already pay taxes, all they have to do is get an ITIN from the IRS as the law requires.

  • @Alan00170 your rebuttal is absolute cockamamie.have you ever tried to do anything without government issued identification?how can you pay auto insurance without a drivers license?how can you obtain a business operation permit without proper documentation to acquire licensing from the federal, provincial, and/or municipal government ? i'm very aware of what a tax i.d number is, and what an individual whom obtains one is entitled to do with it, but acquiring a gov issued i.d is not one of them.

  • @mellomex85 I can't believe you are this uninformed.

Some companies will not sell you auto insurance without a drivers license but many other will, all you have to do is look around. Here are the names of just a few. There are many more as well

    American Southwest Insurance Managers

    Infinity Insurance Group

    United Auto Insurance Group

    American Centuries Casualty Insurance

    Lonestar General Insurance Agency

    No problem...

  • @mellomex85 In regards to Starting and owning a business.

Not all business types require a permit or an operational license. I know this because I own several businesses, some of them require permits some of them do not.

You really should do some research on the business type you want to engage in, It's not that hard.

Almost anyone can acquire a business or property in the U.S. I have clients that own property and some that own businesses here who have never even set foot in the U.S.

  • @Alan00170 why must you insist on using the " your parents robbed a bank " analogy ? there are no laws in the american criminal system that penalize children for their parents felony's. if there were, bernie madoffs kids would be rotting in prison with him, and john gottis kids would be behind bars, instead of living off his illegal assets.the dreamers are innocent.let me guess you're one of those naive, cynics that wants to "deport them all" deep down, even you know that will never happen.

  • @mellomex85 The law does not provide a child the right to benefit from the crimes of the parent which is exactly what the dream act proposes.

Madoffs children can not legally keep the proceeds of his ill gotten gains. That's why the government has already seized all the funds and assets they could identify from his entire family.

  • @Alan00170 my wallet was stolen along with my drivers license, it took me 2 full days to get a replacement license.i couldn't order an alcoholic beverage at chili's, yet you insist you can open a business without an i.d? good luck ! you keep alluding to "their" parents being "criminals",but the fact remains being in this country without the proper documentation or "illegally",is not a criminal offense but a civil infraction.is robbing a bank a civil infraction? then why must you compare the two?

  • @mellomex85 I continue to say it because being in violation of sub section 1325 automatically constitutes a violation of 1327 which is a felony.

  • @Alan00170 under the immigration and nationality act, illegal entry into the u.s ( in most cases e.w.i ) constitutes as a misdemeanor for first time offenders.whereas only persons who have been shown to repeatedly enter illegally may be charged as felons. the dream act qualifiers do not fall under the latter category. dude do you hear yourself? are you really trying to argue the fact that an illegal can obtain a car or business without a state issued i.d ? let's say hypothetically, for the sake

  • @Alan00170 of argument an illegal immigrant does manage to insure their vehicle, eventually they would require a drivers license for title purposes.the problem is that you don't want to accept that the dream act may and would benefit our economy.why would you be opposed to an opportunity to raise our college attendance and subsequent graduation rate?or object to allowing these young people fight in our military to protect our freedom?they've done nothing wrong, and are as american as you or i

  • After their six year conditional status, these same individuals will need to meet additional requirements to move on to the next phase of this process. Specifically, they must have attended college or served in the U.S. military for at least 2 years, and once again, pass criminal background checks, and demonstrate good moral character. If young people are unable to fulfill these requirements, they will lose their legal status and be subject to deportation.

  • @erik4727 We should remember that US already has the most liberal immigration policy of any developed country on the planet. We allow a quota of 1 million per year, this exceeds all of western Europe combined. Preference in law is rightly given in compassion to those in the greatest need and suffering the vilest of the human condition. It would be immoral to allow illegals to usurp those quotas and displace legal immigrants who have been waiting for up to 10 years for their entrance visa.

  • @Alan00170 Well given the irrefutable fact that US intervention is the cause of mass migrations, especially in Latin American countries, I think they have every bit the right to live and work here as we do. Illegal Immigration is the last resort for most, and its foolish of you to think that people like you think it's as easy as signing the guest book to get in.

Laws like the one in Arizona is what you mean when you say USURP-usurp federal laws and take a real assbackwards approach.to the issue

  • @erik4727 So what your saying is that you support breaking the law because you think the U.S. intervenes too much militarily in South America? Funny, I can't seem to think of any wars we have going on in South America right now. Sounds like your just making up an excuse to support breaking U.S. Law. And why would you bring up Latin America Anyway. Are you prejudiced against those races in all other regions of the world?

  • Myth: Opponents claim the DREAM Act is “amnesty.”Young people must meet several requirements in order to qualify for the conditional status it will provide These requirements include entering the country when they were under 16 years old, proving they have continuously lived in the U.S. for at least 5 years and graduated from a U.S. high school or obtained a GED; demonstrating their good moral character; proving they have not committed any crimes that would make them inadmissible to the country.

  • @erik4727 You mean if you don't account for the waiver provision given to the secretary of Homeland security which can be delegated to administration by publication in the federal register. The power to waive any and all requirements.

You must be either very young, a student or just incredibly naive if you have such a broad lack of basic understanding or interpretive powers of the the Legislative, regulatory and administrative process in the U.S.

  • @Alan00170 Honestly? Could you not tell that was straight off the DREAM Act Website, this isn't about exemptions or exclusions, this is just

  • # The DREAM Act will allow our immigration and border security experts to focus on those who pose a serious threat to our nation’s security. Secretary Napolitano believes this targeted legislation provides a firm but fair way to deal with innocent children brought to the U.S. at a young age so that the Department of Homeland Security can dedicate their enforcement resources to detaining and deporting criminals and those who pose a threat to our country.

  • The DREAM Act will have important economic benefits. According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the DREAM Act in its current form will cut the deficit by $1.4 billion and increase government revenues by $2.3 billion over the next 10 years. According to a recent UCLA study, students that would be impacted by the DREAM Act could add between $1.4 to $3.6 trillion in taxable income to our economy over the course of careers, depending on how many ultimately gain legal status.

  • @erik4727 Again, More Propaganda, twisting of the facts. The U.S. Congress has already released a report that the cost of illegal immigrants on the U.S. Tax payer exceeds 260 billion dollars annually. the promise of 1.4 to 2.3 billion in additional tax revenues does nothing to offset the real costs.

  • The DREAM Act will make our country competitive in the global economy. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan has stated that passing the DREAM Act will allow “these young people to live up to their fullest potential and contribute to the economic growth of our country.” In particular, the DREAM Act will play an important part in the nation’s efforts to have the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020,” something vital for America to remain competitive in today’s global economy

  • @erik4727 It's interesting how one can twist the facts to suit their own agenda. I live in a large Texas Metropolitan City that currently has a High School 70 percent overall drop out rate. When the School district subtracts the number of "Undocumented Students" from those statistics it turns out that our actual drop out rate of legal documented student is only 22 percent.

  • The DREAM Act will contribute to our military’s recruitment efforts and readiness.Secretary of Defense Gates has written to DREAM Act sponsors citing the rich precedent of non-citizens serving in the U.S. military and stating that “the DREAM Act represents an opportunity to expand [the recruiting] pool, to the advantage of military recruiting and readiness.” The DREAM Act is also a part of the Department of Defense's 2010-2012 Strategic Planto assist the military in its recruiting efforts.

  • @erik4727 This is hogwash. Foreign nationals have long been eligible already. My brother in Law joined the U.S Navy as a Phillipine National in Manilla in the 1970's. After his 4 years of service (Not just 2 years) he was granted U.S. citizenship. The Dream Act is not required to gain U.S. citizenship through Military Service, It is already available.

  • THE DREAM ACT: GOOD FOR OUR ECONOMY, GOOD FOR OUR SECURITY, GOOD FOR OUR NATION

The DREAM Act is common-sense legislation drafted by both Republicans and Democrats that would give students who grew up in the United States a chance to contribute to our country’s well-being by serving in the U.S. armed forces or pursuing a higher education. It’s limited, targeted legislation that will allow only the best and brightest young people to earn their legal status after a rigorous and lengthy process

  • Thank god this didnt get passed. It is not our responsibility as Americans to take care of ILLEGAL ALIENS, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, or provide support in any way, let alone financing their schooling. They should have been deported LONG AGO and should be happy they could be here as long as they were. Buh bye!! Dont let the door hit you in the ass!!

  • Well Mr. "Mello", if you proof read your comment ironically you undermine those without documentation although you yourself made a slight error. Compare yourself to my kind. You'll see we are no different than yourself. Ignorance is no excuse for the fear that has come upon loosing grip of your country. Do not blame us when all we ask for is equality. Like they have said before, we did not choose to come here......But i stand proud considering myself as an AMERICAN even if you will not.

  • @lizzrocha whoah! your comment profoundly confused me. i'm not sure which of my comments you took as offensive, but as the son of one time illegal immigrants, i assure you i am for the dream act and equality for all, citizens or not, illegal immigrants or legal ones. perhaps, if you re read my comments( without imposing your own conclusion about me ) you will concede, i am not your enemy, but a friend. again, i can say unequivocally i am pro immigrant legal or not.

  • Comment removed

  • @mellomex85 SO your saying that you are Pro "Illegal Immigration" Meaning that you support breaking the Law.

  • @whtchudoinfoo your statement does not negate the fact that two years of taxable military service is inequivalent to an assumed near-lifetime of taxpayer's dollars. Fail.

  • @whtchudoinfoo this kid is unbelievably ignorant, spreading his hate through you tube. his actions remind me of a kid i used to beat up in high school. he feels powerful being as racist as he wants to be, while in the safety of his home. if he was behind me in line at the grocery store, id ask if he has a problem with me, he'd answer no sir, and just look down at the floor. don't let him upset you. he's mad because he's quickly becoming the minority. also his mommy didn't hug him as a child

  • @whtchudoinfoo

I'm here.... and I'm LEGAL! And I ain't leavin'! So eat shit and die! Moron!

  • If the Dream Act gets enacted, hundred of thousands of Mexicans will cross the border with their kids. These kids will be forced by their parents to attend and graduate high school so they can qualify for the provision and become legal citizens. You think America is gonna let that happen? Hell no! Wake up. It's just a DREAM. Instead, pray to god. Pray and be thankful for what you have. God will find you a way. US citizen or not.

  • I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but she forgot the "L" in Gonzalez at the beginning of the video.

  • Ive read the dream act. Even if a person were to complete the 2 years of military service and pay taxes during that time, it wouldnt account for the 18+ years they sucked from the economy - not the mention their parents. I would be behind it if they garuanteed all aliens under the dream act had to repay all the tax money they have used since they began in the public school system. Once they repay their debt to the country, they would be fully legal.

  • The Dream Act ,as written, it just an attempt for the Democrats to expand their voter base. It applies to people from 16 to 30. If it were intended to show mercy to KIDS that were "American except on paper it" would apply to children that attended American school K-12. It would not be satisfied with just 2 years of military service because the Minimum Service Obligation (MSO) is 8 years. Some municipalities allow green card holder to vote. That Democratic greed killed this bill.

  • SAN MARTIN TEXMELUCAN, Mexico (AP) -- A pipeline exploded in central Mexico early Sunday as thieves were trying to steal oil, killing at least 27 people and sending rivers of flaming crude through city streets.

Anybody want these people coming to our nation??? NOT ME!!!

  • @MrChipAndDale THE SUNDAY TIMES, U.K NEWS. " a united nations report has labelled scotland the most violent country in the developed world, with people three times more likely to be assaulted than in america. violent crime has doubled in scotland over the past 20 years, and levels, per head of population, are now comparable with cities such as rio de janeiro, and johannesburg ". do we want THESE people coming to our nation? not me! see, i can regress to your level too. BAHAHAHAHAA! IDIOT

  • @mellomex85

i don't want EITHER moving into the US!

  • @mellomex85

"united nations report has labelled scotland the most violent country in the developed world"

    HAHAHAHHAAAA!!!

Nice fabrication MORON!! there are no black people or spics in scotland! and therefore there is no crime!!

    BAAAHAHAHAA!!!

meanwhile mexiscums continue to shoot each other like the rats they are!!! 2000 dead in juarez in one year alone!!! but don't get me wrong... THAT IS GOOD NEWS!!!

    BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!

  • @MrChipAndDale did your parents not hug you enough as a child? just because you disagree with the article does not mean its fiction or a fabrication,(google, violence in scotland, there genius)i don't go around on you tube spewing hateful lies and nonsensical, bigoted, racist propaganda, i wouldn't do that, i'm not you. there's actually 8,025 black people in scotland, and that numbers growing as the last census was done in 2001 BBBWWAAAHHHAHHA! or is that a fabrication as well? BWWAAAHHHAW!

  • @whtchudoinfoo

my family is from scotland. but i am LEGAL and you ain't. sorry, amigo. adios!

take your family when you go so that you will not be split apart.

  • @MrChipAndDale my family is from mexico but im an american citizen, its not about legal or illegal, its about common sense, and human rights. its about being sympathetic and empathizing with the young men and women who were dealt an unfortunate hand in life, through no fault of their own. i would think out of anyone, an immigrant, such as yourself would understand that. the fact that you have papers does not insinuate you are above another human being, you are a bigot if you think otherwise.

  • @mellomex85

BAAHAHAHAHAAA!!! "common sense" BAHAHAAA!!! "human rights" BAHAHAHAA!!!

These people are ILLEGAL!!! Unfortunate hand??? Christ, moron!! Their scumball parents broke into our nation!!! Of their own volition!!!!

I have no sympathy for LAWBREAKERS!!!

Fortunately our congress has more sense than you!!

    BAHAHAHAAA!!

    LMAO!!!

The dream act is DEAD!!! SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

  • In response to the Video GABBY you really need to read the dream act for yourself as a student myself I read before I make A comment this ACT is way wrong must readit ASAP.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=2SBy5f2woX8&NR=1

    ******Pass The Dream Act******

  • i think if you want to better your self the why not give them a chance? of course if they didn't have a chose to be brought here at a young age. They work so hard and should have a chance. some Americans waste their lives by selling drugs and dropping out. these kids want to make a change and become something big so i say give them the dream act!!!!!!

  • @rugangstasgurl RE: betterment of themselves

I feel it would be immoral to allow “Illegal Aliens” to displace “Legal Immigrants” who follow the law and have been waiting for up to 10 years for their entrance visa.

I also feel that using the fact that they have already benefited by education from my tax dollars as an investment is an appeal to the lowest instincts and is insulting. It is also a discriminatory statement against deserving immigrants who are waiting legally for their entry visa.

  • We should remember that US already has the most liberal immigration policy of any developed country on the planet.

  • @Alan00170 finally, someone who can indulge me, with a civilized intelligent conversation concerning comprehensive immigration reform. now, with regards to your comment on my unawareness of current immigration law or its criminality ,section 8 title 1325 of the u.s code, states the following; entry without inspection is a civil penalty of 50 u.s dollars, not a criminal offense. entry into the u.s without proper documents is not a criminal offense and therefore not defined as a crime. furthermore

  • @mellomex85

Wow, Cherry Pickin ehh... Ok you got me on the specifics conceded. Unfortunate but true that the first offense is a misdemeanor.

Should we then ignore USC 1326 and 1327. How can you be guilty of one without also violating the others which do include felony offenses.

Ok, I get it you if were the child. but 1327 would still apply after the age of 18 if they know even one illegal immigrant and have not reported them. Since the parent is illegal they would have to know at least one.

  • @Alan00170 u.s code title 8, is not part of the criminal code, it is civil regulatory code. mere illegal undocumented presence, while a civil violation under title 8, does not violate in criminal code under title 18 of the u.s code. for instance the phrase "illegal immigration is not a crime" is true, because illegal immigration itself is not a violation of criminal statutes, unless done in addition to other aspects (such as forged entry papers, providing false info etc). now do you see why your

  • @Alan00170 initial statement, comparing crossing a fence to robbing a bank is completely ridiculous and frivolous? you seem like a pretty smart person, which is why im puzzled by your statement where you said deport them along with their parents, or something to that effect. if it were that easy don't you think it would have been done already? i have absolutely no clue what interview you claim i parodied. let me guess, you think the dream act is an amnesty? that is absolutely erroneous

  • @mellomex85 RE: Parody

Yes that statement was meant to evoke a moral emotional response. Much as the name of this bill does. Unfair Play goes both ways.

Just as This one does... I have Dream as well. I have a dream of legally walking out of my bank with a bag full of someone else’s money. Not Bank Robbery of Course, just an “Undocumented Bank Withdrawal”

Softening of the language in this way appears to most thoughtful people as an attempt to minimize the offense on a psychological level.

  • @mellomex85 RE: Along with Parents

My apologies, I can see how that looks cruel.

My reasoning was that The parents are 1. The responsible Party and are in illegal status themselves necessitating under law deportation. 2. The Parents would be the best facilitator of reintegration into an unfamiliar society that the child has been roved from for so long.

I hope that clarifies. It is rather difficult to express some thoughts with 500 characters

  • @mellomex85 RE : More on betterment of selves

I cant see anyway around the inherit immorality and unfairness of the proposal. Any way you cut it. It does amount to a reward for illegal entry.

Many supporters of the bill call the opposition selfish. But how selfish and cruel is it for someone who gained entry illegally to displace others who are following those very difficult rules. Who's going to tell those dreamers that they have to wait another 10 yrs because the illegals got here first.?

  • @Alan00170 lol, i believe it is you sir that is cherry pickin. just face it, the parent robbing a bank analogy does not hold water. i fully agree, its impossible to lucidly debate such a sensitive issue, in 500 characters. the mass deportation you seek will never happen.no one will be displaced, as theres enough room in college class rooms for all who wish to further their education. how do you feel about the military aspect of the dream act? don't tell me that risking your life fighting for a

  • @mellomex85

I was not referring to classroom displacement. I'm talking about the million of Applicants now waiting their turn to enter the country “Legally”. Logic would dictate that we should decrease the current approved quotas for all nations to accommodate them. Not saying we would do that, but it would certainly be advisable and prudent, Otherwise this influx would bust these carefully thought out diversity oriented quotas and they would have no meaning.

  • @mellomex85 RE: cherry picking

Really, didn’t you notice they were sub sections of the exact same Title that you quoted? You saw the misdemeanor for undocumented entry in 1325 and you stopped reading. I took into account the law in its "entirety"

You were the one who cherry picked out one sentence of one sub and ignored all the rest. The described Dream kid over the age of 18 can not possibly be in violation of 1325 without also being in violation of 1327 which is a felony.

  • @Alan00170 country that doesn't acknowledge you as a citizen, constitutes as amnesty. i think its safe to say unequivocally no one would object or feel " displaced " if an illegal " alien " took their place on the front lines of war. yet when the very same illegal " alien " wants to pursue his lifelong aspiration of going to college, everyone has a problem with it. iv'e gotta tell you, the fact that you've not resorted to blusterous, racist, slurs is amazing. its quite the change of pace

  • @mellomex85 RE: not resorted to blusterous, racist, slurs

Well thanks, But I'm sure you've read other comment threads here. I can see how its very difficult for some to remain civil when there is so much baiting on both sides. It's very tempting, when your called racist or selfish simply for holding an opposing position. I just try to rememeber that its projection

  • @mellomex85 RE: constitutes as amnesty

This may just be my opinion but when you exempt by law a person who would otherwise have been subject to penalty of another law it does amount to an amnesty. Call it "Clemency" if you prefer. It is also discrimination against those that do not get that exemption. The immorality is inescapable.

  • Economic hardship of an immigrant should not trump the vastly greater need of those suffering genocide, torture and worse at the hands of their own governance simply because they are already here illegally.

  • Comment removed

  • Since when did we decide it was a good thing to let the families and children of criminals benefit from the Crimes of their parents?

So we should let the child of a Bank Robber keep the stolen money because it's not the child's fault the parent was a Bank Robber. That's just ludicrous.

  • @Alan00170 did you really just compare crossing a border to robbing a bank? lets see, robbing a bank is a felony, penalized by a prison sentence. crossing the border is not even a misdemeanor, comparing the two....that sir, is ludicrous and absurd. lets say hypothetically, you had any say in immigration policy , what would you do with the hundreds of thousands of students, that graduate from an american high school every year, only to learn that they are illegal immigrants? keep in mind they've

  • Comment removed

  • @mellomex85 Yes I made that comparison

I want to "Thank you" for the civility of discourse.

But at the same time I can’t see how you expect to effectively lobby your cause If you have never even studied "Current Immigration Law" and are not aware of the criminality.

I saw the same TV interview where the guy was saying what you parodied. I was shocked. I didn’t know if he was that ignorant or just flat lying.

You can’t believe what you see on TV and media. It’s best to go to the source.

  • @Alan00170 been here since they were children, we'll say 5 for instance, and no longer have the ability to speak spanish. would you send them back to a country which they no nothing about? or would you be sympathetic to their situation, knowing they're american in every sense, except on paper. id like to point out that someone with any criminal record, would not be able to qualify for the dream act. im quite interested to hear your rebuttal

  • @mellomex85

Of course Not. No one with an inkling of humanity would send a small child anywhere alone. That's why the parent should go back with them. After all it is the parent who is responsible for the predicament.

  • If anyone get's their United States citizenship you are pretty much screwed in to be an American slave citizen. Unless if your 50 year's or older. That's when I will get mine. If you come from another country, just keep your green card and renew it when it expires it's much cheaper.

  • /watch?v=AFQXnSflXYo if you hate the dream act!

  • you do realize youtube is universal don't you? that means anyone with a internet connection, in any part of the world can use it. get out of your'e country? unless your'e native american, you have no grounds to say this is your'e country. its people like you that make me ashamed to be american. do me a favor look up a couple words in the dictionary. i dont know why but ignoramus, and moronic come to mind.

  • @mellomex85 Fuck your life, fuck your opinions, fuck you. When will you realize that you mean nothing to me. Go home queer.

  • @Chunkylove84 you seem to be having a hard time comprehending, perhaps ill become fluent in white trash dialect, and maybe...just maybe, you wont be so oblivious. so, a man walks into a bar with a monkey and a banana. he asks the bar tender what his favorite drink is, i forgot the rest of the joke, but your'e a redneck and your mother is a whore.

  • @mellomex85 Go back to Beanerville

  • @Chunkylove84 i hadn't realized people referred to Massachusetts as beanerville. thanks for the update

  • ustream.tv/recorded/ 11236093 if you hate the dream act!

  • My only intentions are to support America's interest not the interest of Foreigners by use of the American Tax payer. In other words FUCK Illegal aliens, Fuck their plight, Fuck their families, Fuck their lives. I don't want to hear about them, I don't approve of them getting any American Tax dollars. If they have a hard life then SO FUCKING WHAT, Let them fix their own country. Those motherfuckers are not the U.S. responsibility, THEY ARE A BURDEN ON U.S. TAX PAYERS. DON'T GIVE THEM SHIT.

  • @Chunkylove84 lol sounds like a redneck rant. DURRRRRR

anywhoo, theyre good for the economy. thouseands of people in the army, and in college, these people are the future. theyre gonna create jobs and spend money just like everyone in this country. these kids graduated from the top of their class, and no criminals will benefit from the dream act.

these people didnt have a choice, they came here as kids.

  • @nickthe5th SHOVE YOUR PRO-ILLEGAL ALIEN PROPAGANDA UP YOUR ASS AND STFU FAGGOT.

  • @nickthe5th the dream act makes sense in every possible aspect, perhaps thats why no one has any sane objection to it. opposer's often resort to claiming it provides amnesty(which in my view is a ridiculous stretch of the imagination) or they just explode in a nonsensical, hateful rant. apparently they cant think of anything lucid to say so they just give up, and try to offend you.

  • I am incredibly amazed! Amazed at this people that with foul language and ignorance think they are making a valid point. Really? Do you think this country needs people like that? When they are ready to make an educated point, with common decency, then comment, other than that, keep the ignorance.to yourselves. That shows how uneducated, "God" believers they are. :D

  • @yestfl dont let these fools drag you down, when they resort to ignorance and foul language, it exposes their IQ as well as their lack of benevolence. america is so credulous to believe that immigrants, legal or not, want to harm them in some way, its a shame. i am as proud to be an american as george washington, however the more ignorant and petty people get, the more ominous our future looks. united we become strong, divided we are weak and susceptible to harm and calamity. stay strong!

  • @mellomex85 STFU Faggot

  • @Chunkylove84 you reap what you sow, act accordingly. you seem very upset, did you take your medication today? do you realize just how desperately ignorant you sound by using derogatory language on youtube? if you cant get your point across, without your primitive brain resorting to foul language, perhaps you should consider that you have nothing of value to add to the conversation. do yourself a favor and read a book.

  • @mellomex85 Go make a YouTube in Mexico and shut the hell up. Get out of my country.

  • @mellomex85

the us were made by immigrants. They brought all there intelligence an ambitions to this country and made it strong and powerful.

Since immigration is mostly illegal, this country declines. Look at the big cities. Have a look were the soldiers are. They are abroad and fight for the "empire of modern Rome".

Have a look at the roman history and look how and why it fall apart.

Don't belive it is much different in Europe. Here the Mexicans are north Africans.

  • Just to clarify, I am a US citizen and have no need for the Dream Act to complete my education. I simply posted this question to see where the candidates stood on the issue since there are many people out there who feel strongly on whether the Dream Act should be passed or not. While I appreciate open discourse on the matter, I do not state my personal opinion on the Dream Act in this video.

  • @GabbyGonz question. did you come to this country legally?

  • @GWBsucksMonkeyNuts who the hell are you sheriff arpaio? i know you dont have much experience interacting with women, but what kind of moron would ask that question. she's already specified she's a u.s citizen ( although she didn't have to ) who are you to ask her such a intrusive and pretentious question? ignoramus

  • Hey bitch, go to school in your own country. I want my TAX money and income to pay tuition for MY KIDS, not freeloaders like you.

  • @lunasky2 LOL if that were the case than don't you think Americans would be running to other countries. Get over yourself you didn't break the rules but your parents did. Last time I checked your not children anymore your adults. Now as adults you should know by now that you aren't legal so you need to go through the process just like everyone else. If that's the case than you should back to your homeland and make it a better place for you and your citizens.

  • Your able to become an American just like every other person as long as you go through the correct proceedings. Anyone can become an American as long as you follow the rules. No other country is bending their laws for immigrants why should America. It is not American families fault that your parents brought you here illegally. Go back to your homeland and make it a better place for you and your citizens. Than apply for citizenship and come back work legally.

  • no amnesty

  • We are all Americans let's not forget that there's South America and North America but at the end it's just America!

  • @Disneyclassics009 Fine if we have to get specific here than United States Citizens.

  • The dream act is a nightmare act for Americans. How can you reward some one from breaking federal laws? it would be like spitting on the people that are waiting in line for their citizenships. Professior Garcia does not know what he is talking about, he lives in the Chicano 60s movement still. Ask Profssor of economics Larry Kotlikoff from the University of Boston. He states, "if there is another influx of immigrants the country would go bankrupt. It is simply unsustainable". Food for thought.

  • What You Guys Dont Realize Is That Most Students Didnt Ask To Be Brought Here! Their Parents Came Into This Country When Their Kids Were Just Babies & They Grew Up Here! Mexico? They Dont Know Shit About Mexico & Some Dont Even Speak Spanish! They Just Want Opportunities Like The Rest Of You! So I Say Support The Dream Act!!!!

  • first off, gabby you are beautiful :) second, karami you asked why should we reward law breakers?..have you read the requirements of the current dream act proposal? my guess is you havnt. had you read them you would know that you may only be eligible if you were brought here by your parents at an age no older than 10. can you really call a child a lawbreaker? do you really want to persecute someone for their fathers actions.many of these people no longer speak spanish obama yes we can!!

  • @mellomex85 So, if my dad robs a bank do i get to keep the cash? These people are STEALING an education from the taxpayer. They need to be rounded up and sent the fuck home.

  • @MrCcrunch so...just to clarify, allow me to reiterate... youre comparing crossing the border( which is a civil offense) , to robbing a bank, which is a felony.... is this your thesis? THESE people are human beings that , through no fault of their own, were brought to the us at a young age. this bill will also offer a chance to enlist in the military. you dont have a problem with them dying for this country, but you have a problem with them"stealing" an education? the profanity is not necessary

  • @mellomex85 the average solider doesnt die for the country. yes they fight heroically, but the average soldier receives a very high salary, paid health care, and a free college education----all paid for by US taxes. there is no way in hell an illegal should be allowed to serve

  • @latinasdoitbetter1 before i offer my rebuttal, allow me to express my appreciation for civil discourse. the AVERAGE soldier may not give their life for our country, but the number of casualties are more staggering than you think. 4,669 american soldiers have died in iraq, and 1,500 in afghanistan since 9/11. not to mention the number of wounded soldiers( 32,000 in iraq and 11,000 in afghanistan ). we can both agree that numbers far too high .also you alluded to a soldiers VERY HIGH SALARY.

  • @latinasdoitbetter1 depending on rank and combat service experience, a new e-1 private will make 16,794.00 u.s dollars a year. not a whole lot considering what we ask of them. factor in that they are essentially on the clock 24/7, that VERY HIGH SALARY, becomes far less than minimum wage. also a dream act recipient would not qualify for the g.i bill. as an american i value my freedom of speech, press, and religion as well yours. however i fail to comprehend your misguided belief that one life

  • @latinasdoitbetter1 is worth more than another, just because they were born on one side of a man made line in the sand. so only a citizen can die for a country they love? just because we were lucky enough to have been born american citizens does not, in any way shape or form give us the right to look down on others, let alone put a lower dollar price on their life. as a person with many friends and family in the military, please don't belittle their valor and courage, whether legal or not.

  • @mellomex85 never said it did kid. simply said people who are illegal in this country shouldnt receive benefits paid for by the tax paying citizens. idk where you got the rest of your info from, but your rant makes you sound quite racist and uneducated

  • The Dream Act is not the way to go for Americans. These students are illigal and should be deported. They and their parents have broken federal laws and should have to pay for their crimes. Everyone write your senators and congress and tell them how you really feel. This is no dream act it is a nightmare act.
