  • o my God! my born city looked so depressing! I wish to say thanks for your job one more time

    !

  • @19Dako20 I think, it's just an old camera low saturation of colors makes that a little depressing effect.

The users mef444, maciek9207, tomekwrz1991 have nowadays recordings of polish cities to compare to.

  • @lynkz17 .Of course 20 years ago camcorders were much larger and of poorer quality, but I think most of your country folks will agree cities, towns and villages were much more drab than today. I was in no way trying to suggest that this is what eastern Poland looks like today, which is why I always put the date my recordings were taken to show they are time documents. Hope you still enjoyed looking at them.

  • Believe it or not, those markets still exist in Poland! There is a massive one in Szczecin, now dominated by Vietnamese clothes. Still some Russians around (cheap vodka and cigarrettes). Veg and fruit is still mainly bought on those markets rather than supermarkets. OMG - min6.43 announcement: "I need 8-10,000USD until end year!Interest rate" This is a gem and totally priceless, you should sell it to Polish TV for some documentary.

  • i would imagine that much would have changed both because of time and because of political change. Hope you enjoyed a snapshot of your recent past.

  • Well, it's really hard to recognise surroundings of central railway station - almost everything look different right now!
