  • This tornado was actually on the 22nd.

  • that was and has been Canada's only f5 tornado that hit Elie Manitoba just west of Winnipeg

  • Don't expect that in Canada, but no place immune to a twister's fury. 'Least up that way, most people have underground shelter to refuge in. Not so, here ... unfortunately.

    *StormSpinner1* in Texas

  • We might have basements yes - but we have a pathetic weather service here, and an even worse warning system. Here we are lucky if Environment Canada even gets a severe thunderstorm warning out on time. A tornado warning received in time to get to shelter is extremely unlikely here - and only two places in Canada have sirens, and this place is not one of them. Alberta has a warning system - but it only works if you are watching tv or listening to radio!! Bad things are coming..you'll see.

  • Very true...Here we have to consider a severe thunderstorm warning a tornado watch...whenever there are tornadoes it seems there are never tornado warnings to go with them and when they DO issue tornado warning there are never any tornadoes to go with them!

  • o o wow!!! o

  • that looks like a nasty twster
