I know the setup I'm going with isn't the best and it isn't supposed to be when you're getting it all that cheap (that includes the cost of my bbk 70mm tbody and the k&n I just run down behind the cobra bumper which has no fog lights). mine is a 94 gt and its actually pretty quick...i raced an lt1 auto with cai, headers and exhaust (stock 3.42 gears) and was even until I hit 4th and I edged him...I'm runnin 3.73s...so not all 94-98s are turds...BTW that was a 94-95 gt in the vid not a cobra

260 hp is '99 - '04 GTs. '94 - '98 only made 215 hp. And vflskullangel is right, the '94 - '98 GTs are turds. Heavy and underpowered. I have a friend that has a VERY clean '96 GT 5 spd. Sick looking car and puts you to the seat but when you actually put a stopwatch to it, it aint very quick.
@gtdrummerdude you need to repost that....the 96-98 GTs are turds...the 94-95s still had the 5.0 and they're not as heavy as everyone makes them out to be. my full bolt on 94 5.0 5 speed has no problem eatin up imports of all kinds that are modded. what i mean by full bolt on is everyone is modded except for the HCI (which is where you get the most hp) I'm only going to put less than 1500 in my entire hci setup including the chip, using 94 style cobra intake, ported gt40s, 1.6srrs and a tfs1

GT's are garbage, its a Grand touring car its not ment to be fast like everyone thinks, thats what cobras are for. stock 03 cobra will run high 12's gts are in the 14's
Im a muscle car fan but its not all about the muscle cars, go look at a big turbo Supra if you think tuners are slow lol, over 1500 hp daily driver supra's out there. but the bigger engine does give the muscle car guys a big advantage :)
oh..well street tuned yes 200whp. but most LS's @ 9psi with a t3/t04e make somewhere between 250-270whp. so I was just estimating....it will prolly be between 215-245...if its a good running motor..and the supporting mods are there. IE fuel,exhaust, fmic with proper size charge piping.
the ls motors are still pretty tough.. my buddie had one in a eg hatch be4 he put a k20 in and it would bark 4th gear all motor.. when he put a turbo on it runnin 8psi he was walkin on all kinds of cars.. he beat a 5.0 mustang spraying 75 shot.. which was saying alot for an ls motor..

If that is a good match right there, becuase of power to wieght ratios, the teg has a little advantage, but by the looks of the race, the GT never had a chance anyway, cheereo.

you got a fast integra but thats not a cobra you race and it doesnt have bolt ons either. Looks like a GT and it appeared to be stock from that 14.70 pass he did those stangs arent really much but good run nonetheless!

it went 12.8@112.8 with DRs. But the wheel hop is SO bad with a stock suspension setup. I was in and out of it the entire first gear. makes for shitty 60's. but we'll see next year when im traping 120+ with a good suspension setup.
well ur ET will go drastically with good launch but trap prob only go up like 3mph. to get rid of wheel hop look for traction bars. they get rid of 100% wheel hop if cant find you can look into solid LCA. solid spherical bushings for control arms they get rid of 100% wheel hop. yeah wheel hop kills my car 2

Im a muscle car fan but its not all about the muscle cars, go look at a big turbo Supra if you think tuners are slow lol, over 1500 hp daily driver supra's out there. but the bigger engine does give the muscle car guys a big advantage :)

oh..well street tuned yes 200whp. but most LS's @ 9psi with a t3/t04e make somewhere between 250-270whp. so I was just estimating....it will prolly be between 215-245...if its a good running motor..and the supporting mods are there. IE fuel,exhaust, fmic with proper size charge piping.

the ls motors are still pretty tough.. my buddie had one in a eg hatch be4 he put a k20 in and it would bark 4th gear all motor.. when he put a turbo on it runnin 8psi he was walkin on all kinds of cars.. he beat a 5.0 mustang spraying 75 shot.. which was saying alot for an ls motor..

I totally agree, but if I was so concerned about ETs I would have just put slick on it...at the time I had an all stock suspension...now I have filled mounts, and spring/strut combo...so I will run slicks. and hoping for low 12's. and this is not my best time if you've checked my vids i've gone 12.8@112.7 on DRs...the wheelhop was so bad I was in and out of it... but yeah atleast you understand the physics of a FWD car...unlike Patman

you got a fast integra but thats not a cobra you race and it doesnt have bolt ons either. Looks like a GT and it appeared to be stock from that 14.70 pass he did those stangs arent really much but good run nonetheless!

it went 12.8@112.8 with DRs. But the wheel hop is SO bad with a stock suspension setup. I was in and out of it the entire first gear. makes for shitty 60's. but we'll see next year when im traping 120+ with a good suspension setup.

well ur ET will go drastically with good launch but trap prob only go up like 3mph. to get rid of wheel hop look for traction bars. they get rid of 100% wheel hop if cant find you can look into solid LCA. solid spherical bushings for control arms they get rid of 100% wheel hop. yeah wheel hop kills my car 2

because internally its an all stock motor...and that was definately NOT a 5.0 mustang...it was 96+ and it had cobra emblem and bumper...listen ppl I could CARE LESS what it was..it was slow..just wanted to show how bad traction is with all stock motor mounts, suspension, and INTERNALLY stock motor.
