only a quick tip 1 network & sharing centre 2 change adaptor settings 3 connection 4 properties 5 configure 6 advanced 7 network address 8 value - any 12 digit code not using the same letter twice 9 unplug modem for 3 mins switch back on brand new ip and some say mac address tryed and tested done it a 1000 times wont work if using wireless

if your computer dont say network address you can go to locally adminstered mac address and the same thing would come up if you doing it for a wireless network

@PixelNuke this means that either your IP is dynamic (you wouldnt need this anyways simply turn off your modem AND router (if you have one) wait 10 seconds and turn them back on and it should have changed) or that another pc or device (psp/ipod/ps3 etc) is using that mac address.

You cant have 2 same first numbers of the Mac addres. As you noticed ''11'' did not work, but t ''12'' does. ''22'' wouldnt have worked either. hats one of the very few things I learned while going through so many websites about how to change your mac adress.

that still doesn't change your ip. only when you use a router and change mac then it will actually change your ip so you can get unbanned from websites and shit. lol
