And I don't wanna spoil it for anyone but the scene with your Dad broke me, my relationship with my Dad is strained and even though he's always been around he mays well have not been. By far my favorite part of the trailer is definately where savannah says "Dear john tell me everything, Write it all down that way we'll be with each other all the time even if we're not with each other at all." Favorite part of the trailer. Oh cant february get here fast enough? Such an amazing book, And the movie looks promising. Escpecially with Channing. He's my favorite actor at the time. And even though savannah's supposed to be a brunette, they couldnt have picked a better actress IMO.

The ending is Very sad indeed, but in a way it couldnt have ended much different if it did, in a way it would have felt worse IMO but i loved the book, hopefully when it comes out on DVD there'll be an extended alternate ending version or something for the people who wished it had ended different. I loved this book, its the first book ive read all the way through since may. Also do you think that's tim whos talking to john about him being on leave? I've been contemplating on if it was him or not

Yes i beleve its him, since he's really the only guy that has a conversation with him on the beach about being on leave. I wish they would have picked a better guy.**SPOILER** but if youve read the book you should remember he punches Tim in the nose. well in the trailer the guy in the yellow really gets hit second they just edited it, and thats tim. but it doesnt look like he has a beard??
