I was awake for mine. I was given 2 kinds of medication, one I took before bed and one I took an hour before my appoitment. My medication didn't take effect, so my dentist had to overdose me, but that didn't even work. When I was done I started to feel weird and loopy. I can back to get my other 2 teeth out a few months later, but this time they had me come an hour early and so they could give me the medication themselves, but once again it never worked.

OMG!!! I had the worse experience when I had my teeth pulled. I was 9 or 10 and the dentist yelled at me and told me I was being foolish for yelling. I am happy you had a great experience. If it came down to having teeth pulled again, knock my ass out. I don't want to be awake or conscious when they do it.

For anyone having their teeth pulled, good luck, and stock up on lots of soup, because that's all you will be able to eat until your gums heal.
