This song reminds me so much of being a teenager in the early 90s. No cell phones, no Internet, no pretension of what life was about. Just alot of great music like this on the radio. Well, I guess those days are over. I don't know who the 94 people are that gave this video thumbs down, but they must be tone deaf. This is a great song and that is why it still stood the test of time almost 20 years later.

@marilyn007manson1 That's when I graduated. So you would be remember seeing this video on 120 Minutes for the first time, maybe. I do and I thought at the time it was the most brilliant and video video and song. I still have the LP and the 45 all these years later back in Minnesota (I live in Korea, now). This is not just one of the best songs of the 90s, it's one of the best of all time and I've listen to it a couple time since writing this. The Cranberries make me proud to have Irish blood.

Back in the day when this came out we didn't have that option because no one had Internet. At least no one I knew. I like how they gave this video a 1930s feel to it. What I wouldn't do to live in an age with no cell phone. But, I have to admit, I do love the Internet sometimes. But, I would trade it all for a great music scene to happen.

But, then again back in the 90s we had people tell us how different thing were from the 60s. Watch, it'll happen in another couple of years. I love having the Internet for Youtube and things like that (I only started using Facebook because I moved from the USA to Korea in the last couple of years), but I hate how cell phones changed things. I don't own one and only did for one year. There are some really great bands these days, but I haven't heard a song like "Linger" in years.
