I just purchased the same lights.. i dont have a dmx controller yet, but i just wanted to know how to power off the fixtures.. it says not to unplug while its on? How do i power off?
@302RELL umm idk what the 10w gobo zoom is; but yes i am happy with these little lights for a basic show. They are comparable to qspots 160s or xmove led by americaj dj so for smaller shows they are perfect. You cannot compare it to 1000+ dollar moving head fixtures of course.
these are much brighter then minspots; the minspot is a 14w rgb and now rgbw fixture; it has 1 red 1 green 1 blue and 1 white led in it to total 14w output; this is a 15w white led with color wheel aka much brighter.
@DJPolska07 the 10w gobo zoom is the latest gobo projector from chauvet, chauvetlightingDOTcom/gobo-zoom-led.html Thanks for the clarification on the 150 vs minspot, I found a price online thats just a little bit more than what you paid at the expo and I am considering purchasing a pair. I wish it had rotating gobos! I have a client who wants to be spot lighted her 1st dance and these might get the job done.
@302RELL yes i have looked it up after I posted them comment. Well see, if you want rotating gobos and prism you gotta get the qspot 160s. These intimidators are so cheap because they do not have the features of the qspot, if they added rotating/removable gobos; they would have to cost alot more!
hope that helps! if your interested in a similar price moving head with rotating gobos send me a msg and I will show you one light.
Well im not sure if they'd be good for a very large venue it could get washed out. For larger venue id go with the qspot 260 or the new qbeam 260! Those will def be good enough and I plan to get them for school events in big gyms.
@slaction yeahh sure, i do not understand why some people don't wanna say, it is not a secret! haha I paid 320 per light, because I bought them at the Expo and these are the dj expo floor models. I think i got a pretty good deal! $80 off each light.
@DJPolska07 Not a bad deal at all! I'm an LD for a larger venue, and for some reason everyone in touring/concerts seems to think bigger is better, but I'm really starting to like these little LED movers.
how much did you get these for...?

I have the 10w gobo zoom and wish it was brighter. Are you happy with the 15w led? Seems like an updated minspot
