every band has to expand there boundries. 65 is doing that. prooving to the world that they can play anything. make music out of static. they are amazing and always will be one of my favorite bands forever.
"The Destruction of Small Ideas" explains the new musical direction maybe. Still feels a bit 65dos like..but they've lost that deep feeling of isolation and sorrow they had. This album is more positive sounding and produced. Cool that their moving on but I selfishly wish they hadn't, because I haven't.
I think it's just an interesting new direction, let's see where they make this newfound electro dancey stuff. I still can feel the 65daysofstatic vibe.
Argh... I was really looking forward to this album's release but the sound is so over-engineered compared to the raw, intense wall of sound from the London performance. Esp. the drums. Way too many mics and tracks--it just sounds too sterile. Ah well, I still love the music, I was just hoping for more from the studio version.
who is the 1 person who could ever dislike such a brilliant song?

I miss the days when 65dos was more rock and less electronic. This stuff seems so... uninspiring. To me anyway.

@BornInAsphodelMeadow I know what you mean, but you can still hear the old 65 DOS in there, saw them live earlier this year, absolutely brilliant!
