  • It's fantastic but it's really fast!!!!

    good execution

  • Nice sound man, it captures a certain French ambiance.

  • Love the piece and your skill, but now it kinda reminds me of circus music. That's not bad, it's just different.

  • Interesting. I've got a recording of Keith Chapman playing the Gymnopedie on the Wanamaker, but it's necessarily different just because of that organ's eccentricities...I'd imagined it a little bit slower, to be honest. The Bourdon sounds a bit underwhelming, truth be told...maybe a Dulciana or similar for the pedal line? Is this a real organ (sounds a bit electronic, and if there are pipes the camera's not facing them :D)? Who's the manufacturer, how many ranks? What's the stoplist like?

  • Late response here - I've posted a video tour to my church organ. Let me know if you have any questions, and I welcome any stop suggestions. Thx ... Mel-o

  • I was always wondering! Thanks for the post! :)

  • lol I love how you just pop in and land on the bench at the beginning, that was great.

Also, that playing was great! Thanks for that! :]

  • Yes, strangely enough I was wondering wht Gymnopedie No. 1 would sound like on an organ earlier today. Seriously, I'm not joking.

So now I know. Although I must say I imagined it would be a bit slower.
