At the time I recorded this clip, the release rate was approx 1550 cubic metres per second (1.55ML/sec or 1550 tonnes of water per second).
The release rate was expected to begin reducing on Friday night and cease on Monday - dependant upon the extra rain.
The Brisbane and Stanley River catchments received another 15 to 35mm rain last night and streams are rising again - not to previous levels though. It looks like there may be a longer tail to the event than expected .
