  • @EVHstyle5150 i'll do a tutorial for it...just have to make the time to do it.

  • Damn, you're sounding good. Not bad on the eyes, either! ;-)

  • man i really dig that fiddle of yours, can you tell me about it? maybe you can even upload a video about it! :)

  • washburn wi64. totally unknown but awesome guitar. best plaiying guitar ive owned (i've had at least 50 over the years.) i have 3 of these now...2wi64's and a wi66 with stacked p90's. pickups sound amazing, great upper fret neck access, buzz feiten tuning (your guitar will play perfectly intonated on every fret for the first time in your life.) super cheap too...$200-$300. check one out.

  • What do you think of your WI64?

  • I love it...this particular wi64 in the vid is like part of my body now. best plaiying guitar ive owned (i've had at least 50 over the years.) i have 3 of these now...2wi64's and a wi66 with stacked p90's. pickups sound amazing, great upper fret neck access, buzz feiten tuning (your guitar will play perfectly intonated on every fret for the first time in your life.) super cheap too...$200-$300. check one out.

  • Kool stuff!

  • tabs???????

  • played on all on the a string. basically, to start sound the open a with a pull off, then hammer on to the 7th fret w/ left hand, and tap the harmonic at the 14th fret, repeat but then tap the harmonic at the 12th (you are sounding the natural harmonic 7 and 5 frets above the fretted note, a classic eddie trick.) then move the whole thing down 2 frets. the end has some additional harmonics you can match by ear.

  • nice harmonics!

  • thanks! obviously, ed is my man and this is one of my favorite eddie tricks.

  • ive always wanted to learn that riff

  • were you able to figure it out? it's actually pretty easy after you figure out the method. i'm not sure how familiar you are with tap harmonics but it is pretty simple. just tap at certain fret intervals (the main ones are 5, 7 and 12 frets but there are many in between) above a left hand fretted note to sound the harmonics. of course a guitar and amp combo that produces harminics easily helps. a cool sounding lick that is easy to play. another of ed's countless classics.

  • Cool :)

  • thanks.
