Strange... You said it's a rendition and it is. Your piano performance is great but you denature the whole with that mechanical drums part which sounds like a metronome. Then it's pretty hard to feel the authentic tropical jazz spirit through your record. It's really a pity regarding the marvelous piano part you play. I look forward to listening to you playing just the piano only... It should and could be great.
