  • HAHA, just like my ferret. The colour, the tricksy look and the dance as well :D

  • I see ur saying your ferrets dont bite hard- one of mine is so kind she more like licks my face to death where as the other one always bites me then runs away. xD

  • awww i got a ferret named luna she very playful and is always happy when i play with her she so cute lol

  • Did you get her name from Final Fantasy? I have 2 ferrets and my girl is named Shiva. You can see her on my profile picture.

  • naaw so cute >.<

i love it how when they are running, they whip their heads back and fourth :P

    cute ferrets! :D

  • first of all ferrets dont dance and wat ur ferret is doing is tht it is basicly tryin to tell u it wants to play

  • i got 2 ferrets yesterday and they are so cute...one of them is deaf.

when i saw them do the dance i laughed so hard i cried..it was jus too darn cute.

the cowardly lion from "the wizard of oz" came to mind "put'em up put'em up...come on"

  • Whats a was dance for them.. I read it in Ferrets for Dummies and it said something but I dont understand please reply.

  • im gettin ferrets this week so im hoping they,ll do the dance

  • @Markmac341 If they're happy, they will xD My little girl als always dancing, using the whole room for it xD She loves dancing ^^

  • She is a doll. Our little ferret is always doing the war dance, it cracks us up!!

  • my ferret looks just like yours

  • i dont get it what the dance??

  • i miss my ferret soooo much!!

  • @ladymadam3, if you have 1 ferret you could get another one.. but first you have to see if they are getting along.. A ferret needs his exercise in a day and 2 ferrets can give this to eachother.

  • It looked like she was kinda of running away though. IF she wanted to play, wouldnt she have run back to you to attack?

  • @Amukahok she wont run back right away because she might want to play chase. Our ferret loves to play chase, and you know when they want to chase you because they will turn around and stare at you. And ferrets do bite when they play, but not hard at all.

  • @nicknitro86

I understand now xD thanks so much

  • @Amukahok My ferret loves to chase play. He loves playing with the dog but most of the time he will run away from the dog because he wants her to chase him then hell his somewhere and suprise attach her when she least expects it. Its a typical ferret game XD. He will do it to me too

  • @camilleathome

oooh I get it now <3 thanks

  • Thinking about getting a 2nd ferret... Should I?

  • Yes, Your Buddy Needs A Friend(:

  • ooo yeah, trust me, the second one makes the set, you cant only just have one cuz itll just get lonely after a while. we had 4 and it was the best time of my life XD

  • Ferrets are Weasels....

  • i fuckn love it when my ferret war dances

are they just like energy bursts?

Lol when she acts like that its fun to chase her stomping xD lolz she sorta jumps at meh

  • Cute!

  • Ehehehe.. I wish so. It does help to give them a bath every 2 weeks if that helps you.

  • @connahharvey sterelize them, helps a whole lot

  • Yah, Bathe Them. & Clean There Littler Boxes Everyday. & They Have Stuff At Petsmart That You Put In There Water That Helps Stinking Be Controlled(:

  • I always wondered why they bite themselves sometimes while "war dancing" ..

  • YUNA! So cute. Yuna is dancing!

  • THE CUTTEST THING IVE EVER SEEN!

  • c

    cu

    cut

    cuti

    cutie

  • my teachers fuzzy likes to be"bowled" across the floor when he war dances. then he chases after people or nonexistent objects :)

  • loved it

  • it's funny how ferrets seem to always run into things while doing the weasel war dance.

  • "Ferrets in war dances are very accident prone, often hopping into obstacles or tripping over their own feet." -Wikipedia :D

  • I know, its so funny...lol

  • Do weasles make good pets I heard they bite alot.

  • well she's a ferret and if they are trained they won't bite ^-^

  • So many clueless, overly sensitive people on YouTube it seems... She isn't hurting the ferret at all.

  • Yeah, I hate people like that, fucking idiots all of em.

  • so cute (: my ferrets are ADORABLE when they do it. We used to only leave them on the bed to play but now they're allowed on the floor and they'll do it if we walk by them almost like they think we're trying to intimidate them. Idk, one of them likes biting toes and that's all she'll go for regardless of how much she's punished.

  • its not rough for them, it's actually quite gentle. My mom and I do that to our ferrets and they love it!

  • Hahaha I love when they do this!

It's like they're so excited they don't know what to do.

  • hehe wen i wake up my ferrets are sleeping on my legs

  • ALL HAIL FERRETS!!!!!

  • My ferret hisses and backs up and bristles when he's war dancing. Definitely part of the war dance, too. He backs himself into a corner, bristling, then starts tumbling around and flopping.

  • She's not hurting t, it's just a form of play.

  • you

  • A WarDance is a sign of joy. It's part of playing. Hissing and barking are fear and aggression. Try taking a favored toy away for a ferret, and you'll most likely hear a real hiss. You can tell if a ferret is really mad at you

  • @wolfangel55 It usually involves pain

  • @wolfangel55 Isn't it supposed to be a hunting mechanism? To entrance stupid, fluffy rabbits and stuff before pouncing on them?

  • there so cute where did u get then I really want a ferret :)

  • my cousins ferret did the war dance one time and didnt realize he was by a wall and ran into the wall. it was so funny cuz he shook his head and acted like nothing happened

  • Nothing else can get ~that~ excited about anything :p

  • hey im selling a pair of ferrets but i live in eng so if your american..... anyway it costs £5 for both together must go as pair

  • in scotland ferrets r free lol

  • how much are they?

    usually? how much?

  • they cost around $100 for the ferret and $160-$170 with there cage and things.

  • I got mine for 70$ at a ferret rescue. I think they are alot nicer at rescues.

  • my two were 20 pounds each but if your around the essex southend basildon area id visit wiltons bird sanctuary i think its called, baby ferrets are 10 pounds each! ours were older but other shops were 20 pounds

  • Crap. I paid $145 for my Marshall ferret at a pet store, and another $200 for the cage. Rescue ferrets are usually cheaper and better socialized. Marshall ferrets are *supposedly* inbred, I can't say if it's true, and they're only socialized up to about 4 weeks before being shipped to a store.

Try a breeder or a rescue before hitting up a pet store.

  • Marshall's is so big that inbreeding isn't much of an issue. The one I got had a tatoo on his hind toe-- a mark he was a ferret bred for biomedical research, and methods for producing a ferret genetically fit for biomedical research bars inbreeding.

They're not well socialized, and often the pet store owners themselves have the task of nip-training a ferret. Being removed from the mother too soon prevents her from teaching them to poop in the corner.

  • i have that perfume!! ^^

  • Your ferret likes to play carpet sharks.

  • LoL I love when my ferret does the weasel war dance. Sooo cute.

  • How can I know, when ferret is happy and angry?

I know they smell but I don't care :D when I'm 18 and live my own house I will buy ferret maybe two :)

  • If you do end up deciding to get a ferret, buy two. They interact better when they have someone to play with.

  • Buy 2 or more, they'll be much happier.

They make a beeping/laughing noise when they're happy. And when they're mad they make hissing sounds and back up, raising their head.

  • I thought hissing and backing up with a raised head was the Ferret War Dance, a sign of joy?

  • not from my experience.

  • no the war dance is when they jump sideways towards whatever they wanna play with, but yes it is a sign of joy =]

  • yhat was so cute!!!

  • Most feed them raw. Mainly stuff like chicken gizzards and hearts. I give mine chicken baby food. along with their kibble. (WYsong and INNova)

  • btw...do they eat cooked meat? or raw meat?

  • so cute. i want one

  • Thank u all for ur comments! Yuna is a happy girl, and she loves to play... mine do know when I warn them not to bite, so they will do it softly and its not painful.

Yuna was the Most beautiful ferret 2005 in the Netherlands!!

  • @KawaiiNezumichan hey, is Yuna still alive?

  • My mom babysat my son once, and he took our 1st fuzzy-girl out and my mom thought my she was attacking my son! She made him put her away (my poor Loo)- she called me crying that I have a wild beast! LOL.. to know ferrets, you need to KNOW ferrets. :-)

  • OMG!!!!!

    Your ferret is SO cute!!!!

You know, if I didn't know it was called a Weasal War Dance, I would thought that something was wrong with that sweet little thing!!!

  • Haha I call it The Weasel War Dance Too. lol

  • :O im not the only one crazy enough to let the ferrets on the bed!!! :D XD

FERRET SMELL BEAUTIFUL!! ( to those who love them... XD)

  • I guess, if the cat wasn't big enough to try to eat it.

  • More likely that the ferret will eat the cat.. ^_^ Heh. Nah, it's possible, but it doesn't work with all individuals. If both animals are young when they're introduced it's normally easier to make them accept one another.

  • They can get along and excuse me, if ya gonna comment on 'retared', perhaps you should thin twice as there are many Ferret lovers around

  • Oh wow that's so cute! I want a ferret!

  • you know that teqnique you use to get the ferrret to play i cant do that coz my ferret wud bite hard lol

  • You need to train him to NOT bite hard! If he bites, pinch his cheek and say NO! Or Don't BITE! If he gets hold of a finger, use your thumb to push his nose so he lets go. Always tell them Good Boy or Girl! You can also push your finger deeper into his mouth so he gags. Tell them Kisses only! Ferrets are smart. Be firm and loving. That's enough! Good Luck!

  • woo hyper ass ferret. mine did that and ran into the sofa xD

  • i love my ferret

  • I have a ferret and he does the war dance too, :)

  • did you name the other one Tidus? :P cool ferrets btw
