The wprd Gospel mean "truth". In Hebrew, Gospel is Bisurah. No matter what our cultural background is, we all worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Yeshua HaMaschiach(Jesus the Messiah) came to shed his blood on the tree of sacrifice to forgive the sins of the Jew first, then the Gentile. Jew and Gentile are one creature in Messiah. Baruch HaShem.

Just think, there are many different versions and melodies to this prayer/song. The differences are based on a persons influence and culture. If you listen to Klezmer, you will notice the Eastern/Central European sound to the music. And Music from the middle east and north Africa have the sam influences. So his sound reflects his influences and culture as well, and gospel is very popular in the black cummunity.
