I'm sure those convicted persons also faced mountains of evidence, as did their families.
I would question any case that contained perjured testimony, hidden evidence (can't hairs contain DNA), or a time of death that aided in securing a conviction.

Prosecutor Mike Carroll & judge Hunter should be in PRISON for do everything they could to keep an inocent man in prison after DNA had cleared him. When miscarriages of justice like these occur, we must have a mechanism for investigating and addressing their root causes. When we study our criminal justice system in Texas and take necessary measures to improve the quality of justice administered, we not only reduce the chances of convicting the innocent, we increase the chances of convicting the guilty. We also show the World that our justice system is strong enough and has the decency to recognize and repair its own mistakes.

Really? What was her name and when was she killed? Are there any suspects and was the crime similar in any way?
As for lies, only the supporters of this guy claim the state lied and I know who I find more credible.
