  • What would we do without you, nzoz. Can always be relied on to have decent videos. In my mind you are noz snoz, by the way. That's how the brain processes it, even though it makes no sense at all :). This has always been such a perfect, perfect song.

  • @lemonfirebrigade Thank you for the kind words. I much appreciate it. Call me whatever you like. Ha ha :)

  • Great post, amazing Aussie song

  • One of my fave songs in grade 12 (in 1982), irony of irony I now live in soggy England. Still makes my remaining hairs stand on end

  • Melbourne '82. For some reason this tune reminds me of stuff you don't see anymore. Like Chablis wine, Billy Field, pubs shut on Sundays, threatened beer strikes, and Richmond playing in the Grand Final.

  • I arrived back home from England after 9 years and yes, we arrived in Sydney on ONE PERFECT DAY.

  • This is a lovely song....takes me back to a great time when the planet seemed a happier place.

  • I'm 18 again; I have a Valiant Charger in duck egg blue; looking for some action and living life like there are an eternity of tomorrows.

  • . I remember going to Festival Hall to see Hoadleys Battle Of The Bands and I thought theyd win. Came 3rd in the first heat I think. Went off to Adelaide and returned a few weeks later and when they did - they nailed it. Great band- A mate assured me they were one hit wonders -Obviously never heard Young Heart is also tops. . I lived in Sydney Rd and it reminds me of aMelb Autumn on Royal Parade. Awesome band. One of the top pop songs . PERFECT. Thanks

  • omg i forgot how fantatsic this song was!!!

  • A perfect song.

  • A timeless beauty! Never tire or it.

  • This is one of my top songs ever, my whole youth here.

  • They toured England in1983, can't understand why this great song didn't make it, must have been crap management. Roger Hart fabulous voice he's now into meditation and writing.

  • Go the shoulder-padded jackets!!

  • Great song - yet another reason why I loved the '80's!

  • I went on a Xmas Yarra boat cruise in the 90's and he was behind the bar ... ohhhh how the mighty have fallen :)

  • Little Hereos were one of the greatest aussie bands..and an excellent live band.

  • the little kiwi girl I had so much fun with...

  • janine

  • As a youngster(Im 19 and i was like 10 then), I thought this was David bowie singing

  • I love looove this song! It is just so beautiful and uplifting. I wish they would play it on the radio and remind me of this great song.

  • wow - one perfect example of a video missing the point of the song!

  • A great Aussie classic.

  • You should add the lyrics to the vid ^^

  • one perfect song!

  • love this.. brings back memories <3

  • absolute song writing genuis. simple, but effective music and song

  • a classic

  • now, now children. settle down! ooh, such spunk, such passion! let he who is free of sin cast the first stone! i bet if i look through all your comments, you too will have made a casual observation regarding videos that may be classed as 'risque'.

doesn't mean i don't like the song, though..

    toodles

  • This is a fantastic song by a brilliant band! I first saw this on a cable channel in England back in the day...

  • ahh, the 80s. great decade for Australian music.

  • And im sure you look like a fuckwit The claw 70, must be your IQ.

  • @Braddlz21 Give the guy a break. Fair call. Thin enough.

  • @Braddlz21 Do i detect a little bit of close to homeness? Settle down, sonny. If you had known Musicians from the Melbourne and Sydney area of the time, i'm sure you would understand where i am coming from.

  • theclaw70 - please post a link to your contribution.

  • lead singer looks like a junkie!! Not at all unusual for muso's of the day

  • @TheClaw70 The piano player certainly looks stoned.

  • @peecee1384 - Maybe just happy. It happens.

  • @mtflesruoytsacdaorb The way he moves his head slowly back and forth... looks like he's off with the fairies. People usually smile when they're happy. Great song though.

  • @peecee1384 - What about if he's in ecstasy, as opposed to on it?

  • @mtflesruoytsacdaorb Fair enough :-)

  • @TheClaw70 your mother looks like a junkie, the filthy fucking whore is hiv positive, no wonder u came out so fucked up, go and off yourself you worthless piece of shit

  • @TheClaw70 ignorance is bliss you fucken tool. singer looks nothing like a junkie, maybe you were looking in the mirror when you wrote you comment!

  • i think the lead singer of the band was my mums boyfriend awhile back.

  • WOW

  • Great piece of composition. Perhaps we'll see a reunion of this band someday. If someone has the video to Little Heroes' Bon Voyage could they please upload it as it really needs to be here too.

  • yeah, i have that video... it was taken down along with my nzozApprendix account. I will bring it back up!

  • Thanks nzoz, look forward to seeing it. The lead singer also bears an uncanny resemblence to the guy who sings for Black 'A Wonderful Life'

  • ha, ha - he does look like Black's leadsinger/frontman.

  • @VillaLobos43 . PERFECT. Ta

  • No seriously he is AMAZING. I wonder where he is now, and if he is still performing with such artistic flair.

    ABSOUTELY UNDER RATED

  • Who is that guy playing the keyboard - he MUST be famous.I think he is one of the best musicians Oz has ever produced.........and pretty hot!!!!

  • I looked up to see who the keyboard player was, and it's David Crosbie. I will take on trust that it's you and obviously your comments were 'tongue in cheek'. Great song! You do look like ex-AFL footballer Paul Couch from the Geelong Cats(played in the 80's & 90's). I don't know if you are part owner of this song, but has there ever been talk in releasing this song to an up-and-coming band in today's market?

  • Thank God no-one from 'Idol' has ruined this song! I love this tune, reminds me of an old friend from England who died.

  • Great song and timeless.

  • Thanks for this. Timeless and beautiful.

It was 1982 when I first went to England...

  • Thank You MRMIL 057 for your kind words.

  • Same here dude lmao I only found out today lol 1st November 2009 XD

  • Bowie was NEVER this good.

  • I saw this band a few times, some small venues, but some larger venues as a support act for an overseas band - and the show they put on was usually better than the bands they were 'supporting'.
