Holy Fucking Shit! The Aston Martin Vantage produces 600hp from a V8? The current most powerful car in the Aston Lineup only produces 510hp out of a V12. Jaguar just came up with the XKR-S producing 550hp from a 5 litre supercharged V8.
Talk about ripoff for the price. Aston needs to up the HP. I'm sure they can if they did it 10-20 years ago.
@derbigpr500 I could say people look for cars depending on HP but no. I'm just saying they're not really pushing the limits in terms of developing their cars. I know Aston get more HP out of their engines in fact, I mislooked one car producing such amount; the One-77 producing 750HP.
And its not really all about HP. In terms of technology, design and practicality, there are better alternatives. I'm quite disappointed about their Rapide. It could've been more than a stretched DB9.

@Northax I Don't know if the V8 is somewhat related to the Mustang V8. It could be the same V8 found on the Jaguar XJ at that time as most components from Astons were shared with Jags while both were still under Ford Ownership. It could also be the Buick V8 found on the Range Rover P38 but I'm not quite sure.

This final version, with the 32 values, was fitted with two Eaton superchargers and, for the V600, had extra inter cooling, revised throttle cam and a few other tweaks to give a genuine 600 BHP and 600 lb ft torque.

The Bentley is a GT car that you can turn up to Buckingham Palace in and it won't look out of place. It's a silent luxury car that goes like stink when the terrorists are chasing you. It's ideal.
Sorry I absolutely prefer the Bentley. I can still put people into it, and share it's joy. no it's not a Ferrari, so what? What's the pleasure of comfort if you can't share it. The ultimate cruiser to put lots in the boot.
