  • It's amazing how fast people can get on Mosins. Great shooting.

  • did you enter the prepper1776 mosin giveaway mad minute challenge?

  • @amyhuk

No, I wasn't aware there was a challenge. Do you have the link?

  • @Mr2ndAmendment OH NO REALLY?!?!? you would of been perfect. sorry but the contest ended a few days ago. i only scored 29 i know of at least one guy who was in the 90s

  • Is your magazine latch broken?

  • Nice speed on the mosin nagant, I wish I could take mines out more often, unfortunately being married has new spending priorities. :-(

  • Best Mosin Nagant shooting on youtube, nice videos man. It's rare that anyone takes the time to develop speed and efficiency with the Mosin, let alone remedial actions. I pretty much have to as well, because it's the only rifle I currently own but feel if I ever need to use it, I can do so and not feel the least bit unarmed. It's still a very deadly rifle in the right hands, as you demonstrate here.

  • @DBabyNinetyOne91

Thanks I appreciate it! I think people undercut the capability of the Mosin Nagant. They usually sell for $100 or less and are easy to come by and are a bit clunky, but they still are deadly accurate and effective in the right hands. The ammo is extremely cheap too, which is great for practice and having some serious fun. I'm all about combining the unconventional with the practical to get results.

  • That is a fun gun to shoot. I usually use a stripper clip though. But it looks like you have loading under control I know I can't load by hand that fast.

  • That is why i use brown bear new ammo. not surplus garbage. but nice shooting and reloading skills.

  • @BushingTheLimit

Thanks. I usually avoid the garbage surplus, the copper-washed surplus usually isn't that bad you just have to make sure you clean it properly to neutralize the corrosive salts so it doesn't rust. Of course, like anything, you get what you pay for. I find that surplus ammo is perfect for plinking, but if my life depended on my speed and accuracy I would definitely want to get something better. Usually the copper-washed surplus won't jam up like the polish stuff did here.

  • @BushingTheLimit yea brown bear is the way to go for your russian and some american firearms

  • wow. impressive.

  • haha, looks like a combination of rim lock bad primer and just over all old ammo! excellent speed, give the russian 80's surplus a try next time its a hell of alot better!

  • dude clean your rifle..

  • @ziggydacat

I always keep them squeaky clean at all times. You've obviously never fired Polish surplus...

  • @Mr2ndAmendment

LOL yes I have, it was the worst shit I've put through my Mosin.

  • i can shoot almost that fast. Am i accurate....i doubtt it

  • very nice video, thankfully the ammo i buy isn't as prone to jams haha

  • @freakskate3

Thanks man, yes, the nasty surplus stuff is pretty jam-prone. If my life depended on it I'd get some new-production stuff, but I probably wouldn't be using a M91/30 in the first place if I could help it.

  • "He man handles gun like Russian." lol

you should see me try at speed shoot its is embarrassing.

  • "Remdial action drills" also known as "cock up when making cool fast shooting video" haha good shooting pal, keep it up

  • Look up iraqveteran8888 he has a some really good videos about sporterizing one of these. Its great gunsmith knowledge for free. He said he spent about 350.00 to complete the job. Check his videos. They may help.

  • @DobermansRock

Thanks! I've been friends with him for a long while now and he has good, sound firearms advice.and instruction. I'm not a big fan of sporterizing milsurps but he has great methods of doing it.

  • @Mr2ndAmendment Yeah he can really get into a gun and all its details. Keep up with your videos they are good in my book.

  • So those were real failures not rounds loaded to fail on purpose? I used to load live and empty in my revolvers to work on flinch problems.

If they seriously mess up that much. I will stick to what I have in my safe.

  • @DobermansRock

The rifle is good and the ammo is still decent, but when it is cycled that quickly it can create problems. I only experience this kind of jamming when I try to cycle this quickly and with this type of ammo, but it's still solid stuff when shot at a realistic pace.

  • @Mr2ndAmendment Is it a fireing pin issue? Iraqveteran just did a few videos on sporting out one of these rifles. I am not trolling and I have subscribed you do good videos. As a armorer and novice gunsmith I would love to analyze what is going wrong. As a helicopter mechanic I also love to fix things that don't work right.

Just a wild guess your lock up might not be solid? I am still feeling its a fireing pin issue. What do the primers look like on the misfires? Check out Iraqveterans videos.

  • not bad, I wish i had a dollar everytime i saw a mosin jam or have a sticky bolt but your mosin shoots better than mine...still not bad for a 100dollar gun though but i wouldnt want to go into combat with it.

  • @MrPettj i wish i had a dollar for everytime i heard that last line.. oh wait no i dont. id be poor ):

  • @boomlightsout .........ive had two mosin 91/30s ...and from my experience , its better to keep that 100bucks and step away from the gunstore.....spend it on beer and pussy or put it towards a new gun.......hell yeah

  • NIce started out really fast :) then the jams :( that polish stuff suckssssss gotta get some more of the yugo m30 7.62x54r thats stuff rocks \m/

  • Those problems you were having, thats why I prefer Mausers if I'm going to use a bolt action rifle.

  • @nbenicewicz read the description... ):

  • remedial drills, also known as "when a cool fast shooting video goes wrong" hahaha, good drills mate and nice shooting

  • wow dude, that was amazing.....

That target looks over 100 meters away and you hit it almost every single time speed shooting..............

You must be like some sort of Elite Russian sniper or somthing lol!

Btw... is that a 1911 on your belt?

  • @Howie262

Thanks lol. It's at 50 yards and it's just enough to keep someone's head down but that's about it. I just want to see how fast I can throw lead at something, I guess it could be a vehicle haha. And yes, that's a 1911, it's a basic Remington GI model, videos on that will be coming later.

  • @Mr2ndAmendment Nice dude! you got Classics right there!

    yeah i just have 2 kar98s and 1 H&k 9mm.

i need a good 'ol 1911 though. Cant go wrong with a desighn over 100 years old and still strong :).

  • 3rd round...I know how you feel...always a straggler f'ing it up! Damn Commies!
