Hillary' proposed health insurance went over like a ton of bricks in the early 90s, because health insurance premiums were reasonable and service seemed good enough. Not many on the left supported it. Today the health insurance is laughable bureaucracy that is increasingly offering fewer services in spite of higher premiums, and that's why single-payer is catching on with more people. If not for the waste and inefficiency of the free market system, such support would not exist.

I never faulted Bill Clinton for his interest in sex. Gee, isn't that how you and me and 7 billion people got here? Haha. But the "he's not a Christian hypocrite" comment had me laughing. And, by the way, Christopher Hitchens ALWAYS makes sense to me. He is, in my view, usually dead-on in his brilliant observations related to the topic at hand.
