  • Hillary' proposed health insurance went over like a ton of bricks in the early 90s, because health insurance premiums were reasonable and service seemed good enough. Not many on the left supported it. Today the health insurance is laughable bureaucracy that is increasingly offering fewer services in spite of higher premiums, and that's why single-payer is catching on with more people. If not for the waste and inefficiency of the free market system, such support would not exist.

  • Love Pat and Christopher.

  • You're a FUCK, Pat.

  • 1993? This sounds like every political conversation from the past three years.

  • the first caller is what I would call a reasonable christian

  • Thumbs up if you watched this just to hear Hitch!

  • @awitty1 my computer wont allow me to "thumbs up" your comment, but thumbs up.

  • Jesus, what axe does this third caller have to grind?

  • I guess you all read lips?

  • Hitchens is so far to the right already, even though he's trying to hide it. You are no socialist sir, at least admit it!

  • @hammertime419 how is he on "the right"?

  • @hammertime419 How exactly is he to the right?! He is most definetly not WTF

  • Yeah you laugh it up Pat,

  • same lies from the republicans

  • whats a bull weevil

  • "He(Bill Clinton) seems to be a decent Christian without being a hypocrite about it."

    HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

I wander what this guy was thinking after the blow job? Decent Christian my fucking ass.

  • I wonder if Christopher Hitchens was motivated by that caller to spread the good word of Thomas Paine?

Maybe he had already spoken publicly about T. Paine, but it may have motivated him to do so more vociferously.

  • I never faulted Bill Clinton for his interest in sex. Gee, isn't that how you and me and 7 billion people got here? Haha. But the "he's not a Christian hypocrite" comment had me laughing. And, by the way, Christopher Hitchens ALWAYS makes sense to me. He is, in my view, usually dead-on in his brilliant observations related to the topic at hand.

  • people are pissed when they call Cspan

  • CSPAN...quite the magnet for crazies.

  • haha, the Bill Clinton comment was hilarious... about him being a Christian without being a hypocrite

  • "I think balance is a ludicrous concept." - Ha! I love it.
