Last night I watched an old marillion show filmed in 83. Fish sang songs off the 1st two albums. His voice was as perfect as the album tracks. These guys play these pieces so much better than the Marillion stuff. I feel they play the Marillion music very badly. The guitar player kills all the guitar solo's.

I guess you're talking about "Recital of the Script"? If so, there are songs from the first album only plus two from singles. :) And as for the Fish band doing the Marillion tracks, well, it's a matter of preference, perspective and such. I used to hate Hogarth's renditions of songs written by Fish, but no more.
