ok so im a noob and dont know crap about rc jets but are these jets really using true jet engines? like mini turbine engines? and if so what kind of fuel are they using? and whats the kit cost for one of those puppies?

About 3000$, but that's only for a proper engine. Then there's the kit, the advanced radio gear and so forth and so on.

-Yes, it's a proper turbine.

Flying these are a blast, but if something fails, or you're a poor pilot with bad judgement; it'll go straight to Heck in a hampsterball. Both hobby-wise and wallet-wise.

Currently yes, a slope soaring glider is faster. The FAA has put a cap on MPH on the turbine jets in the states
