Regan has already started showing for this season and winning about everything she enters. That's interesting, because she is using a couple of different horses. So, for those of you who think it was totally her horse and that she was "just lucky", I hope you keep an eye on her this year. I'm so proud of her and her sister, because I'm their grandma!

I just read about this run in the BHN. Everything about this "equestrians" story is picture perfect. What an amazing wonderful story. Everyone who is just seeing this run needs to know a liiiiitle bit more. Her parents weren't even into horses! Talk about support! Just think if her god given natural talent would have been wasted. She is a power house now, I say wait till the 2020 or 21 NFR... You go girl. Thankyou also to the parents who put this run on here. God Bless

@horsesaremyname This is was I think. You say anyone could do this, then I wanna see you. There has been thousands of runs in that arena and she outrun everyone of them. I've watched that horse run all year and she's won many barrel races or would have won if she would've kept the barrels up. And she's done good like that on other horses to. So quit acting like you know everything about barrel racing, get over yourself, and enjoy a little girl winning something huge like this.

the other thing is this is not an amateur class this is the class that all the trainers run in. It was great that all of the trainers were all so gracious and congratulatory to her :)

@horsesaremyname You should probably check her record of winnings before stating something like "what she did is a once in a lifetime thing". The girl and that horse have been blowing up, not saying she didn't happen to have an amazing run and click with her horse that day but she's been winning quite a bit this just happen to be CONGRESS and it's a big deal.

i have seen this about 10 times and i am still in awe!!!

my trainer and i saw it she used to have a nice barrel horse. but she said that that girl has the most talent she has ever seen.

she rode every second of that ride and she deserved that win
