  • Chiodos Screams

  • @stephencarlmagno funny because Jessicka is a girl xD nothin against Chiodos. jusayin.

  • I dislike this. I was referred to this because I was looking for punk music. Apparently real punk doesn't exist anymore.

  • @TomKaulitzLuvr look at your fucking name. Punk rock? xD Tokio Hotel? xD holy shit. this is the funniest thing. they may not be Black Flag or the Sex Pistols or the Misfits, but they are punk.

  • @fretshredder55 When exactly did I say Tokio Hotel was punk rock. Because I'm looking for real punk bands means that I can't listen to anything else? And also, in my defense, This account was made a long time ago, I really wish I could change my name :/

  • @TomKaulitzLuvr yeah.. your right. my apologies. (even though Tokio Hotel are just AWFUL overall which is why I overreacted I think :P)

  • @fretshredder55 I like their old stuff, which is when I liked them when they were older.

  • @fretshredder55 @TomKaulitzLuvr heh, I wouldn't call this punk.. or bad punk; I think, it's more something between punk and hardcore. So yeah, it is bad punk, but it is great hardcore punk ;D

  • Oh my god... shut up and enjoy the music instead of acting like pretentious pricks!

    Love this song :) x

  • @MissBerrylicious1 Thanx!!! I agree

  • @MissBerrylicious1 To be fair to the others, they're not pretentious. Yes, they have argued over several things but to call people pretentious for presenting well spoken and structured debates when you yourself havent really made a valid contribution is pretentious in itself!

I too love this song, and Jessicka.

  • @MissBerrylicious1 yeah agreed. What the fuck does it matter? Just enjoy the music!

  • I LOVE THIS FREAKIN' SONG !!! ;.)

  • This band should have been more popular.

    Good Band ^__^

  • I LOVE mp3iify! it WORKS just google mp3iify.

  • I can play this ^-^

  • The song...all the games I own...badassness lol

  • Why the hell is everyone freking out about this being gothic or emo. Just enjoy the song and be happy because this song probly came out way before emo exsisted! Clothes are clothes and music is music its different! I could be a prepy girl who loves this song and it still wouldnt matter because it would mean i like the song but does that mean it would effect how i dress? No it wouldnt! Im not prepy by the way im just making a point.

  • this song slayes

  • 1:35 wtf !?

  • I am completely fucking confused about a lot of the comments on this board...

What does all this shit about manner of dress have to do with a song? Clothes go on your body, music goes into your ears...

I could be wearing a suit (very formal dress) or butt ass naked (not dressed at all) and this song would still sound the same...

And personally, I fucking like it.

  • @n0s1r 100% agree :))

  • What the fuck is wrong with half the people commenting here? Enjoy the song and stop freaking out about Hot Topic.

  • If you all wonder about being considered total faggots, read all this shit you write a few times over and I bet you'll figure out the real reason.

  • @aggradef MMA bruh

  • @n0s1r

    Hm?

'Acting like 13-year-old girls is pitiful' = MMA toughguy type?

    No bones in that wrist

  • @aggradef brah, you are really tough bruh, don't you have an MMA match to go to breh? Bruh, you are manlier than anybody bruh. Broham. MMA bruh, MMA.

  • @n0s1r

Yyyeah...alright. I didn't know you had Down Syndrome. Sorry.

  • @aggradef You have down syndrome? I'm sorry... I guess no MMA for you bruh.

  • WITHOUT YOU YES IIIIIIIIIII, DO.

  • Merr merr

  • If your happy with yourself - who cares what others think.

It seems that the people who put the most time into trying to label others are afraid of what others see in them.

    Live your life.

    /my two cents.

  • FF7>everyother footage

  • This song

    is amazing.

  • Awesome.

  • Love this song... idk what all ya'all r bithcin about as far as clothing shit i'm far from "goth" "scene""emo" idk what ever but i'm like 100% myself i wear wat i wanna when i wanna... so for you to try & tell ppl what they should wear makes you a dick so jsut chill the fuck out... thank you i feel much better now 5 fuckin huge stars to this song

  • @kori333faye

For real..for example I'm a cross dresser but because of public harassment I don't feel able to dress comfortably.....people judging how other people dress is messed up...

  • @kori333faye well fucking said.

  • This is pathetic. If I remember correctly; the 'goths,' 'emos,' and 'punks' despised stereotyping. But here we are; stereotyping~

Now for you rob1210; You're a moron. Back when you were 'goth?' For one; you have two different styles here; 'scene' and 'goth.' Not the same style! For two; those who label themselves are not the label. For three; scene kids don't say they're gothic. And two different festivals? You CAN tell the difference. TWO DIFFERENT GENRES!

Also; it's a store! It happens.

  • @skypilot90

wrong. many goths call themselves goth. as you get older you realize that labeling is just social shorthand. anyone who hates labeling has issues within themselves. i'm goth, i like everything that is goth (ie. the music, style, interests, etc.). you can call yourself that and be that thing. so no, it's not pathetic. anyone who claims LABELS ARE SOOOOO BAD are pathetic and probably 13.

  • @ThePlayForToday Well the problem I have with labels is people doing whatever they can to fit one. I agree with you, but I hate when people go "Oh I'll be goth, it's cool this week" as opposed to being themselves. THAT is pathetic.

  • @ThePlayForToday

Agreed on there being nothing wrong with labels. What is a 'label' really other than a noun describing a person? They're no more troublesome than people make them.

If people want to use terms to describe people's club/music scene affiliation then I fail to see the big deal. Personally, I find the desperate need to avoid labels as juvenile as people who feel a desperate need to be included under a certain label. Just be yourself and use then use the appropriate terms.

  • @skypilot90

also; goths and punks don't give a shit about stereotyping.

  • Comment removed

  • How did this turn into a rip-fest featuring Hot Topic? Shouldn't you be commenting on the actual song???

  • @brynnfire

We should be, or talking about the video.

  • Ive only been there once but i prefer making my own stuff -- saves money n moree fun XD

  • I go to hot topic sometimes because I like the style, but I'm neither 'goth' or 'scene'.....-Cough- Just wired. xD

  • I like this song. C:

  • Hot topic sucks Theres mostly posers there man

  • @iloverock221 Bitch.

  • Now-a-days yes. It use to be a good store but it's the new hollister...

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome video!

  • I'm not knocking the band. Just the little rich kids sending me hatemail for my original post. I find it funny as hell.

  • I was just listening. Then got to reading the comments. I laugh at all these Goth or Emo or whatever they want to call themselves. Good luck with your career at Hot Topic... LOL

  • You could wish her good luck with her music career. How much do you make a year? I'm willing to bet it isn't close to what she makes in a month.

  • people who think hot topic is goth or emo haven't been inside the store. its a pretty sweet store, this coming from a preppy girl who also likes to shop at hollister.

  • Never actually been to a hot topic store but I've seen the site and know a few American goth wannabe's that shop there. Tell you 1 thing for nothing, back when I dressed "Goth" I would have put these little wannabe poser "scene kiddies" to shame and wouldn't be caught dead in a shop like "Hot topic".

  • I go to Hot Topic, so what lol? The only reason i got there is because i like buying band shirts, not to be "emo".

  • The problem is, you have these scene kiddies who buy all their shit there (and that's what it is), and act like complete twats and give current "Real Goths" a VERY bad name / image. I'm sure they are lovely people really *cough* but proclaiming to be Goth and listening to shit like My chemical romance? Nu uh, can't do it and be taken seriously. They wouldn't know the difference between Goth and Emo if you sent them to a festival for each genre "Yay did you see MCR! They was Awesome!!" Nu Uh!

  • @rob1210

To be fair, there are people who actually are 'Goths' and are still idiots. I don't think such terms are any indication of a person's quality.

But yeah, it annoys me when people use terms like 'goth' and 'punk' in such a broad fashion as to be entirely meaningless.

  • @Axtyler So what? your playing into the corporate game, you might just invest in a war machine if its really so what

  • jeesh chill and enjoy the artform of music gosh calm down

  • Uhh...actually Goth is a music genre...

  • This song is awesome, now shut up and listen :D

  • Isn't being "Goth" conforming to something?

  • @1956F100

being human is conformity so who cares. live your life and stop giving a shit.

  • @makemebleede It's true. We are all forced to conform to other's expectations from birth....

All of the music on your favorites list are also "mainstream" for the most part... I guess that means...

    Substance. You lack it.

  • damn i love this song i know just how she feels

  • I'm not afraid of screaming

and I'm not afraid of crying

    I'm just afraid of forgetting

And I am afraid of dying

    - thats my favorite part x BUUYA!x

  • No, it isn't jack in jill.

It was "Jack and Jill", but Marilyn Manson change it to "Jack off Jill" =)

  • Gwah, Devil May Cry. I suck at that game but it's good. XDDD *can't get past the first boss in the first game*

Jack Of Jill, good choice. : D

  • I'm not afraid of standing still

I'm just afraid of being bored

I'm not afraid of speaking my mind

I'm just afraid of being ignored<3

Who cares what genre? Good lyrics/music is good lyrics/music. :P

  • <3 jack off jill and scarling!

  • omg i had this song stuck in my head for the longest time now i know what it's called...

  • let me clear that up. i was responding to marilynmansonfan99, the band used to be called Jack On Jill.

    and i adore this song.

  • this is a good song, whats the point in all the "this is goth" and "this is emo"

its music, and bloody brilliant music

who cares what label kids like to give it, themselves, each other, etc...its pointless...

    brilliant song, love J.o.J lol

  • No shit. This existed before all those little emo kid twits showed up. I'm goddamned sick of these teenagers and other people labeling something "emo" because it's dark or different or bears any slight resemblence. You little whiny brats don't own everything and before you forget, emo would never have existed in the first place without it's bigger siblings Goth and Punk.

  • goth would of never existed without punk so it's more punk where every thing came from

  • I know that. But since I was speaking of emo, not goth, I refered to Goth and Punk as emo's older siblings. I am aware but discusing goth wasn't the point of my comment...

  • And the mentality of Goth and Punk are quite different anyways. So, I don't think you should lump the two together and say emo came from Punk, because it didn't. It's been a gradual process. If we keep distilling it down though, we're going to have no substance left...as is evident by the emo kids...but, I guess every generation will have their disaffected youth and it will be interpreted for the times.

  • @bloodymissb

Actually, I'd say that there is a -huge- overlap between early Goth and late Punk. A lot of bands that are now considered to be part of the Goth Rock genre were, at the time, thought of as post-punk bands (or even just 'punk'). Any attempt to pretend that there is a clear and obvious division seems false to me.

  • Actually Emo was a punk offshoot just like Goth, it started around the same time as well, it was more of a rave based scene and they were genrally seen as a genre to be looked down apon for their 'posuer' tendancieys, the mainstream emo of nowadays is a bastardisation of the original look with emo being crudley slammed against the pop-goth genre that emerged in 2000, to compare an emo to a goth would be the same as comparing a V12 missle to a Nuclear bomb, both were cutting edge when first...

  • And again, that's what I'm saying. The point I was trying to make is they have sort of moved in on all walks of alternative culture and have basically raped it and claimed it as theirs, neverminding that they aren't an original creation anymore than punk or goth is. Everything comes from something so I would just like these little shits to stop confusing the public and labeling anything melancholy and emotional as emo. It's very frustrating.

  • If anyone is stupid enough to label this band as emo more fool them, but for the sake or saying Their a post punk influences Riot Grrl band, their baisically Punk influenced feminists going from the same creative strain as other artists such as Marilyn Manson, Manson was more directed to the extremes of drugs, sexuality and corruption whereas JoJ concentrait on ties of emotion, sexuality, sensuality, rape, abuse, they blanket the emo genre but have the artistic consistancy to give it meaning.

  • Also I think they have taken all the worthless bits of goth and punk and doused them in sulking. It's totally substanceless, just like everything else mainstream. And I also don't even regard emo as a subculture, it is quite mainstream and well marketed. It has no real difference these days from pop music except some black and depressing lyrics and a good measure of sulking with the occasional idiot who think it makes a statement to cut themselves because it's "emo". I have no respect for emo.

  • Everything mainstream is substanceless? Really?

  • For the most part. Sorry.

  • mainstream music about like sex and bitches, substanceless but some stuff actually has meaning.

  • emo's just watered down punk... goth was, like you said, a total offshoot. if you're talking about the scene kids, that's more of a rave scene/emo lovechild. every genre had atleast one lovehcild with rave.... (punk-cyberpunk goth-cybergoth emo-scene) but i agree with nyvian joj is love.

  • cyberpunk and cybergoth are the same genre :P I'd say scene is more of a bastardisation of emo, it's what happens when preps and emos mix, the same as when a chav and a greebo merge together. Emo isn't watered down punk what so ever though, it is/was a post punk movement but has no ties to the punk genre what so ever, emo music is genrally pop-punk or techno with screemo and certain metal bands thrown in. Just to clarify pop-punk has no involvment in the punk movement.

  • Pop Punk tottaly had involement in in the punk movement. Hence why there is the word "Punk" in "Pop Punk."

  • You don't know what you're talking about.

    1. Pop-punk is a post-punk movement so therefore had nothing to do with the original punk movement.

    2. Pop-punk is to punk what techno is to electro industrial music.

  • I sooo missed this song <3 its amazing.

  • this sounds rockin!

    yu ARE who yu ARE.

dont try && fit into a stereotype, just wear && do && think what yu want =)

*yes master rainbow ;D lol* xx

  • I'm doing a few covers of their songs, some acoustic. Thinking about tackling this one. Can't believe its been 10 years since I first heard it.

  • I loved this song in my teenage years :) *flash backs*

  • :D let us remince about our teenage years together?

  • Comment removed

  • this song is lyk my life story <3

  • <333333333333333333333333333333

  • wtf? lol

  • I'm not afraid of happy endings; I'm just afraid my love won't work that way.<3

  • Im not afraid, put the gun in my hand...

im just afraid it will hurt like hurt like hell

    <3 xox

  • ..and I am afraid of dying,

without you, yes I do and I hope that you do too <3

  • without you, all I do is sit and think about you.

  • even if it was emo, which it isnt, then that shouldnt be a problem really.... like, im not emo myself, but i really dont think people should take the piss out of them... im sort of goth myself, i wear lots of black etc, and i cant expect people to accept me for the weirdo i am if i hate on others for being different. so how about its just 'kin awesome music???? hehe

  • You wear alot of black..."Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken." Which is exactly the problem with emo.

  • I agree with what you were saying, but beefy goblin is kinda right, though he shouldn't have called you emo for it. Thats just flaming...

Goth is more of a state of mind, or a way of thinking. Some would call it self-centered, others creepy, but I don't care, I'm still the best person I can be, but I look exactly how I want to. I won't let them influence my choices.

If you fail to understand that, then you are certainly not a true goth...

  • the main point of my comment was not about me wearing a lot of black. fine, substitute the word 'black' for the word 'pink' whatever, my ACTUAL point was that its not fair to expect people to give a shit about YOUR beliefs/opinions etc if you can't accept others for theirs. and tbh if someone calls me emo then OH WELL i dont find it remotely offensive.

  • most would argue that "true goths" are those neat kids who love original batcave goth music, and the like. the dark aesthetic is a
