paul only taught the gospel to israel, not heathens. and some of the northern tribes of israel were greek( hellenist = isrealites that took on greek customs). study more deeply . pray for understanding . titus was a hellenist (israelite) not a non hebrew gentile.

I like Smith's teachings, but why does he have a problem with being called a christian?

Acts 11:26, "and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came about that for an entire year they met with the church, and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch."

Christians are also mentioned in Acts 11:26, and 1Peter 4:16

Pastor Smith skipped over the 11th through 13th verse of Galatians 2, where Paul was addressing the hypocrisy of Peter.

Galatians 2:11-14:

"Before certain men came from James, he (Peter) used to eat with Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy, even Barnabas was led astray..."

When I look at the ministry of Jesus, even though he born a Jew, that is, by lineage, it was the Jews that sought out to kill him because of his teachings, and his rebukes against him. Never in scripture, was anyone that was not a Jew trying to kill him, even though the Scribes and Pharisees handed him over to the Romans to ultimately be condemned to death. Even in that process, did not the Jews declare, "We have no king but Ceasar"?

I'm reading John 10, and around verse 22-26, the Jews were trying to get him to say that he was the Christ. Jesus, in verse 25 said,

"I did tell you , but you did not believe. The miracles I do in my father's name speak for me, but you do not believe, because you are NOT my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them , and they follow me."

They attempted to stone him behind that.

And what's FACT is that you don't see in the Bible where they went around calling themselves Christians. They still called themselves JEWS even after Christ died and all throughout the New Testament.
