that's a video card error, he... has something wrong, mostlikely over heating, or over rendering (his card can't proccess that much) .... he REALLY needs to get that replaced, i doubt his card will last too much longer... althoughm, I used a 6600gt without a fan for over 6 months... so i dono.

does any1 experience the same? when u attk mob with normal default attk it dont have sound of impact it only sound of weap swing like wo0o0osh and wo0ot. no sound of hitting the mob. like you hitting the air. 96% no sound of hitting the mob and 4% it have. also it has hp bar delay like when u attack mob the mob hp dont go down right away it takes about 1.5sec to go down.

Eq just wasnt made for this. It was made with game play meat and tradeskill beef. This is WoW's world. Its built to have cute videos made from it. Those funny dances they do and the funny way that they interact..and thats about it. Eq2 is big boy MMORPG, with big game play. WoW is sandbox style, daring kids to eat their buggers is more fun right?
Basically a person who leaves while the other stays and when they finally return they find him dead? either way...too dark and depressing for my tastes.

Probably you have to throttle down the gpu of your graphics card (or cool it properly). Check in google for an overclocking utility it will let you under-clock it. If you have an nvidia card use rivatuner for example.
My computer did that too when i played EQ2. I recognized it right away when i watched this video the first time. My husband opened up my tower and it was so thick with dust... who knew it would collect so much in a clean office, but anyway... it was so thick with dust he blew it out with a can of compressed air and it didnt' do it again.
eq2 DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT. The breaking is most likely being caused by a damaged video card that is being overclocked combined with a strain on the processor by recording this movie in the process at such a high quality. The result of the graphics is the USERS error.

although granted chatting is all part of what makes MMOs fun, everything should be interlaced, part of what keeps people playing a game is knowing that at any time something could happen to completely offset your entire gameplay, for me WoW lacks that frustration due to its simplicity. The problem with EQ2 is that at launch it was terrible, shared exp debt and such.., all the EQ1 players who had been anticipating EQ2 to blow all other MMORPGs out of the water were just dissapointed.
since when did this become about EQ2 vs WoW? EQ1 was great before planes of power. it lost most of it's frustration factor, i.e. traveling (stupid books), which was all part of what made everquest addictive. WoW is to simple. It hands everything to the player making it seem as if actually playing the game is second to just being a giant chatroom with avatars, sitting around in Ironforge for 3 hours talking about newbs gets old.

if you buy Echos of Faydwar you get the whole game. next expansion is in november of this year and yes i played WoW and Eq2 and i liked eq2 alot better not just because of graphics. It also has a better community than all the kids at wow who are like 10-9 y.o. that i ran into.

I think in the video the couple fight and the halfling leaves... after many flash backs of memories he decides to return home only to find his mate has passed away. The ratonga gave up and died... the halfling realized too late. Sad story but very well done video.

well, continentalglue, I couldn't grasp the entire story, but it looks like one of them died and then the other ran off to kill themselves afterwards.

although granted chatting is all part of what makes MMOs fun, everything should be interlaced, part of what keeps people playing a game is knowing that at any time something could happen to completely offset your entire gameplay, for me WoW lacks that frustration due to its simplicity. The problem with EQ2 is that at launch it was terrible, shared exp debt and such.., all the EQ1 players who had been anticipating EQ2 to blow all other MMORPGs out of the water were just dissapointed.

since when did this become about EQ2 vs WoW? EQ1 was great before planes of power. it lost most of it's frustration factor, i.e. traveling (stupid books), which was all part of what made everquest addictive. WoW is to simple. It hands everything to the player making it seem as if actually playing the game is second to just being a giant chatroom with avatars, sitting around in Ironforge for 3 hours talking about newbs gets old.

WoW looks great on an advanced PC. It is not meant to look "realistic" as EQ2 does. That is what people cannot seem to grasp. WoW is a more cartoony game and it looks great as a cartoony game. The lighting, and effects are awesome. Fuck the future, and this is coming from a WoW fanboy point of view. World of Warcraft FT MOTHER FUCKING W!

if you buy Echos of Faydwar you get the whole game. next expansion is in november of this year and yes i played WoW and Eq2 and i liked eq2 alot better not just because of graphics. It also has a better community than all the kids at wow who are like 10-9 y.o. that i ran into.

Didn't read through all the past comments so this may have been said already but...
I think in the video the couple fight and the halfling leaves... after many flash backs of memories he decides to return home only to find his mate has passed away. The ratonga gave up and died... the halfling realized too late. Sad story but very well done video.

I preffer the graphics on EQ2, WOW is too cartoony I loose the feeling of realism. EQ1 Textures are still realistic also. Nice Vid, makes me want to log on.

Even better, inside they game, they don't even talk, they just level and bash on new players... (what's even more interesting is that the game itself is one of the easiest MMOs ... basically everyone who plays it would be bad at other MMOs)

hmm.. easy? sure.. but who the FUCK wants to play something that is hard.. now be honest. sure everyone likes a challenge, but i get so pissed off at MMOs in general. I have played tons of them. and honestly i think all of them are big time dumps. but the reason WoW is ever so popular is that it doesnt take a hardcore nig to be good at it, and it also doesnt take a monster machine to run.
