you think everything is Greek because of your ignorance. look, the universal language in those times were Greek, because of Hellenic conquest, just like English is now. So people think all these ancient writings and cities were built by Greeks but it's not true. Anatolia had it's own culture and all these places names are Anatolian(Hittite&Neo&Hittite).

Halicarnassus is not Greek. Ephesus is Lydian(ancient Turks), Pergamon is Roman. Constantinople is Bulgarian/Thracian. Aya Sofia was built by Constantine(a bulgar turk-not greek). Trojans were Turkish. This video is too focused on non-Turks.

Halicarnassus was a Dorian Greek colony, Ephesus was an Ionian Greek colony (the Lydians were indoeuropean) and Pergamon as well. Constantinople was the name given (because of Constantine whose ethnicity was not quite known, but he definitely was not a bulgar, those guys came later) to Byzantium, a greek colony in Thrace. Hagia Sophia was built by two (most likely Greek) architects during the reign of Justinian.

I think you need to chill your Greekness a bit. Greeks were colonizers. this is right and they persecuted Anatolians, Cypriots, Dorians, Spartans, and all people they tried to conquer. Same people that still claim Baklava and Kebaps are Greek. Dorians, Ionians, Macedonians, and Pelasgians were not Greek. Indo European is a made up linguistic group. Doesn't exist. Gypsys are Indo Europeans, does Europe accept them?

Are you kidding? the Spartans were Dorians, which was one of the ancient GREEK tribes and the Cypriots (depending on your use) were Greek as well. Also, the Athenians were Ionian (I guess the Athenians weren't greek either).

Also, it's debatable whether the Macedonians were Greek from the beginning of not but their royal house at least since Alexander I claimed so for themselves and the Macedonians were certainly eventually Hellenized. Yes, indo-european is a 'made-up' linguistic group based on actual evidence. Actually, there is much recent evidence of Sumerians, Thracians, Trojans, Lydian of being Turkish. Their language is similar to Azeri/Turkmen. Etruscans, forebears of the Roman empire have DNA that is most closest to Turks and Etruscans are essentially Trojans. Ataturk drove the Greeks out to avenge his Trojan ancestors...

Don't be ridiculous. None of the peoples you mentioned were turkic. Sumerians - spoke a language isolate, Thracians - an indoeuropean language, Trojans - most probably Luwian, Lydian - well, an indoeuropean language as well. The Etruscans -might- have been from Anatolia (genetic evidence does point to that) but the turks didn't arrive there until a few millennia later. "Ataturk drove the Greeks out to avenge his Trojan ancestors..." is just silly.

English was created from Latin. Latin was created from Etruscan. Etruscan is Turkic. Their Runes are Turkic. Search Kazim Mirsan, Polat Kaya.

I'm sorry that I have to repeat myself: you are ridiculous. The indo-european theory is a linguistic one, based on actual evidence. Your whole "turkic-etruscan-latin-english" thing is simply inaccurate (though a great percentage of the english language is made up of Latin words). The Etruscan alphabet was based on the Greek which in turn was based on the Phoenician. Please, look up some scholarly sources and abandon your hyper-ethnocentric fantasies.

Please don't be ridiculous. Etruscan is older then Greek. Ancient Greeks came from Persia Indus Valley 2800 years ago and settled in modern Greece. Etruscans were already in North Italy for almost a 1,000 years before the Greeks arrive. Greeks despised the Etruscans, but stole their culture. We see the same with what the Greeks did with Ottoman Turkish culture(baklava, kebaps, music etc.)

Ah, where to begin? Ancient Greeks [or rather that proto-Greek element which would become Greek through its interaction with the local, older cultures (Pelasgians and so on)] came from the Pontic-Caspian steppe if we subscribe to the Kurgan theory of the spread of Indo-european languages (it's the most widely held anyway); the out of India theory is mostly rejected nowadays.

The Etruscans (whether they came from Anatolia or were indigenous to Italy) had absolutely NO relation to the Turkic people who were still in central Asia back then and also left texts since around 800-700 BC versus the first Greek texts which date from around 1500 BC (see Mycenaean civilisation and Linear B). As for the Greeks despising Etruscans but stealing their culture, it's a silly accusation (if one can call it that).

Snapper, Pelasgians are not Greeks. They are thought to be Central Asian as well. You know little about Turks. Central Asia was ONE of Turkish settlements. Birke Sweden, the Alps were apart of a large migration of Turks. Don't mistake Orkhun Turks with ancient Turks.

I'm very Turkish and my family even has ancient shamanistic elements going back to the GokTurk/Uygurs, which Churchwood(MU civilization) which goes beyond the Great Flood. Turkish is very ancient. Some say 12,000year old. My DNA is from Catalhoyuk going back 12,000 years.Etruscans/Lydians came from this region.Trojans, Kurgan all the same.

Yes, it's a Russian word of Turkic, specifically Tatar origin. Are Turks (the modern ethnic group) Tatars too now? The Turkic migrations have already occured, the ethnic groups have already split up (unless you're a pan-turkicist or something). Also, what's wrong with naming a culture who used tumuli to bury their dead after a word that has a similar meaning even if that word is from an unrelated linguistic group?

I guess you are not familiar with the DNA tests on the Amazonian Kurgans in the Ukraine. Amazonians fought with the Trojans in Lydia and are related. DNA proofs central asian/mongol connection. I think the main point why you do not understand me is because you are looking at Turks as a distinctive race that came to the west in 1071. Turks are not a distinct race, it is a linguistic group with believes in Tur(Sky God Tanri/Tengri/Sumerian Dingri). Their language predates the biblical flood and ancient Turkic culture and words have survived over several thousand years. You confuse Seljuks with ancient Turks. That is the problem.

The West has a hard time calling ancient civilizations Turkic, because modern Turks are mainly Muslim. The iranian connection is often referred by Western scholars because they only use Latin, Greek, Arabic, Farsi and Semitic languages to decipher ancient text. That is why most of Sumerian,Phyrigian,Etruscan,Lemnos,etc did not make sense to them. Recent Mirsan, Kaya, Tarcan deciphering shows very strong Turkish link.

The big part of Turkish population is indigenous to Turkey , since the dawn of civilization. The common languages & the names of the land changed numerous times in Thrace & in Anatolia .
