just curious, what were the dimensions of your canvas in the video?

@bellaraina hum it depends what kind of males you want, but in general make the shoulders more large and less hips and dont give him too much eyelashes

1. What brush tools do you use for the whole painting (line art, coloring in etc.)

2.How do you know where to put the shine on the hair?

@WhiteWolfTomboy 1. For this painting, I used the brush and watercolor tools to color and to blend, and the pen tool to do the lineart

2. hmm you normally choose a lightining source at the beginning then shade thinking of it...but to say the truth I dont normally follow it, its just instinct haha

I really like how you put in your linework after painting the colors. That is an ingenious idea. I also like how much detail you put into the folds of all the clothing (though I think some one should teach that kid how to iron XD). In my opinion, the final product could have used another color besides brown and yellow to make it more exciting, but you definitely have the technique and a good eye.

@miikaeal nope I just play with the brush setting especially with the density, the color blending and the persistence, by the way I use paint tool sai and not photoshop elements, and from what I recall there's no paint brush on that photoshop D:
