the only way to stop it is to go to, videos and playlists, there, go to featured layouts and choose, grid view, then save changes, that's the only way!

I actually loved my main video to play automatically, now it doesn't. If you go to my page, the Joe Strummer video does not play automatically. I changed the video yesterday which used to play automatically, now the new video won't.

So, is there any way for me to have this new video start automatically when people view my channel?

Yes, but you could just disable it and have your favorites shift up to take it's place. I like advertising and showing my appreciation for what other people do but I think I prefer the silence, I've not quite decided how to handle my own page.

For now, while I still have hope that it is a temporary change, I couldn't resist having a little fun by putting this in place, hehe ;) If it is a permanent change then I will disable the featured video space, or if we all get used to the autoplay I'll go on using it to display my favourite videos from people =)
