I do not have an iPhone, so I don't know what works and what doesn't. I have been able to unlock the iPhone with a sim card in it. AT&T and T-Mobile both sell prepaid sim cards. You can buy one of those for around $5 and unlock your iPhone with that. Good luck!

I did not buy my iPod with it on 3.1.2. As of now, I suggest that you use blackra1n to jailbreak your iPod or iPhone. You just have to go to the blackra1n website and download blackra1n. Then push the make it ra1n button and your iPod or iPhone jailbreak. This also unlocks your iPhone.

No, there is no possible way that you screwed up your iPod. It is impossible to break an iPod unless you physically do something to it. You might run into issues, but every issue can be fixed, no matter what. Go to my videos and search the word "bricked". You will find a video that might help you. This video is not for the the device you have, the iPod Touch 3G. You should search iPod Touch 3G and blackr1n. That will show you a way to jailbreak. Good luck!

u dnt have to unplug and plug the ipod touch back in when it says waiting to reboot. when holding the home button by itself just keep holding it until it says waitng to reboot not b4
